All quiet on the East End front as regards the upcoming significant test of our progress in the Championship. My ticket`s booked. I`m travelling to my ancestral home tomorrow, in readiness for the game, so have to identify myself to a great extent with the linolickers. But let`s hope we give them a right good doing.

The manager is saying Bene is in contention and he has a decision to make about risking him. Summers had a dead leg after last week but should be available. The only players ruled out would appear to be KRH, Todd and Tod.
There`s a mistake in the preview on COWS which says Raith won the League Cup game on penalties!

Probably not much chat as the last 2 performances don’t exactly give folk much confidence going into this

In it to win it. 3 points up for grabs, let`s grab them. It would be great to see Bene back. Wee message to James:- "If Bene`s itching to play, get him in there".

Think I have mostly been over optimistic rather than under optimistic since I started posting but I will be very pleasantly surprised if we get 3 points from Raith at this stage.
Confidence can`t be great at the moment.
I think we will progress and gel better as returning players get fully match fit and take the remaining 6 points though.

Football is notoriously unpredictable. Before our league game at Tannadice, I would have bitten your hand off for a point - in the end I was massively disappointed that we didn`t get 3.
I feel similarly about tomorrow`s game. Maybe that`s an omen.

I agree ShellyPar, but lack of confidence and player injuries/fitness could be a factor.

Think the lack of games over the past month or so doesn`t help as it feels like ages since we last won a game.

Raith are 6 points ahead of us from the same number of games. That looks like a significant difference in form. But if the game at East End had ended 1-0 for us (which most fans thought it could have) we would both have 14 points from 8 games! That just demonstrates the fine margins in this league.

Will be there but have no confidence in getting a result. Kind of hoping we will get a response from the players after last week. Not convinced we can play worse than that 1st half.

Fancy we keep it tight first half then they eventually break us down in the 2nd and go on to win 2-0.
Feels like the only chance we have is if we score the first goal.

About a year ago we dragged a result out the bin at Grangemouth when hardly anyone expected us to. I fancy us to do it again, God knows why.

Just back from Asda Kirkcaldy and overheard 2 Rovers fans having a chuckle over tomorrow`s game.
Saying we`re toast and we haven`t sold many tickets.

I fancy we will go with a line up looking not to lose, as we did against our six fingered friends last season

Looks like we have 250 - 300 tickets left of which a lot will go tomorrow, so 2000+ Pars fans.
I have a feeling we have the rust out our system after last week, the players will be desperate to make amends so going for a Pars victory

Dropped in to Starks Park about an hour ago on the way past. Some young lads playing 5 aside across the pitch. Looks perfect for a Pars victory. Bring it on.

Would like to think so but can’t see it. Defeat tomorrow with another blank and the alarm bells will be ringing……
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.
