Good goal, Rovers were denied a penalty in the 1st game for a similar incident.
If it was a free kick tonight it should have been a penalty on Tuesday.

Brought up in Dalgety Bay, him and older brother went to Donibristle and IHS - doubtful would ever sign for Pars due to Falkirk allegiances. Good friends with Greig Spence and Lewis Milne.

I agree. From watching all the play off games, Airdrie, Partick Thistle and Raith look streets ahead of us. So much intensity, desire, speed and power in the way they play football, while this season I have found us so slow, ponderous, cautious. We really need to start stepping it up

I highly doubt they will beat either of those teams. Fair play they are in the mix. We have to be aiming for top 4 next season.
An early signing i.e Chris Kane would be a fantastic boost and show the fans a bit of intent of what the club are going for next season. We`d been screaming for a player like him and he`s fitted in well.

They don`t bother me as much as grangemouth does. There are a few similarities in their season on our last year riding their luck a little in games scoring late on. Managing to grind out results despite being outplayed. Fair play to them. Although I`d much prefer them in the league as it will give us a bigger budget to put into the team. As last season showed we need all the cash we can get.
c'mon the pars

I thought overall Partick were the better side. I agree with others on here that both sides showed the desire and commitment. I thought Partick were more direct and their style of football pinned Raith back for alot of the game.
I think Raith will struggle in the next leg to be honest.
Partick will be a threat next year.

Partick were 100% the better team, which is why they won the game. Two unfortunate penalties at the end undid it all for them.
I know we`ve no chance, but Easton really changed the tempo for Raith when he came on. Would love to see him a Pars shirt.
The question was asked on TV last night whether County or St Johnstone would be the easier team to play. I`ve not seen much of either team so it`s hard to say. Always a chance for the Championship side who are doing well playing against a Premiership side used to regular defeats.

I`ve always viewed Raith like a wee distant cousin. Not really relevant if they do well or not, unless you`re in direct competition with them.
Their hatred for us is hilarious considering the vast majority of Pars fans don`t really mind them, and have much more vitriol towards Falkirk.
I had a long conversation with a group of Rovers fans who were desperate for me to say Rovers were our biggest rivals. It was quite sad that they needed validation.

They more than deserve to be in the final based on the season`s performance, although I thought thistle should`ve won last night with some of the chances they had. I do think the premiership side will win out whether it`s St Johnstone or Ross county, two teams I`d rather not have down when you take into account crowds, finances etc.
Were we not close to signing Scott Brown a few years back? He was terrific and saved 2 or 3 certain goals with goal line clearances. Hopefully McPake/Mackay were watching to see the level of attacking play the team needs to play at next season if there is to be a title challenge.

Was quite an enjoyable game to watch, Thistle definitely blew it, their talisman Graham being ineffective.
The young laddie that failed to score the penalty was crapping it long before his turn!
Looking forward to the Premier side horsing them.

Graham snatched at a chance at the death which will still be on his mind, raiths keeper is going to have a great career. And brown was immense.
It will be a good final and raith can certainly play in the prem next year

The two ties showed how important Graham on form is to Thistle - his goals are main reason they were 3rd and also showed that Rovers at that back are highly suspect if you get in about them . While Scott Brown’s clearances were part luck part being where he needed to be , they gave up a lot of chances that Thistle did not take advantage of. As for that fandan keeper he doesn’t have get lucky , a lot of his saves he almost flicks the ball with his arm when you think it’s past him and ball somehow never goes into net.

On another note Patrick were far better as the game went on but good luck to the wee team don’t see them winning though - ross county a lot more powerful up front and on other hand st johnstone not scoring but more organised under levein
