we do have a reliable setup, for some reason we have issues today.
we have tried numerous things to get it sorted.
We did a test stream there for the Youth Cup Final with no problems.
we have not had such a problem before so can only apologies.

I think you will find that refunds or subscription extentions will occur by the club.
will have to investigate the reason why the video was so jittery, it has not happened before. I know away grounds can be problematic but today was not good to watch :o)

It`s always easy to point the finger at the parstv team week in week out, who are trying their best to provide acgood product .Its very frustrating logging on week in week out and the end product like today.
This is out of parstv control surely
I recall it being stated "the club" agreed to purchase upgraded equipment for parstv team
Does anyone know if they got the new equipment.
I am a parstv member and has been for many years ,I don`t know anybody the team ,but have sympathy for the criticism they get when possibly the club have not fullfilled there promise to provide new equipment .

I asked that question at the time and got a very vague, non-committal answer. The whole set up is clearly not fit for purpose considering it’s used by the club as an income source, and requires a fresh set of eyes to audit the whole set up and process. Unfortunately unless the club are proactive in this, those running it won’t accept there are deficiencies in the output.
I lay no blame at the team of volunteers who give freely of their time to operate this, but the club need to ensure their customers are given value for money.
As has been said many times before, we have the worst offering in the senior leagues and I’ve stopped using it. Had to laugh when Brian said earlier that this hasn’t happened before.

You need to extract your bonce from the sand. You, me, we are paying for a service and it`s substandard at times. Yesterday`s game and last week`s game had unacceptable coverage. Users have that right to complain.

I don`t think that because it`s run by volunteers is an acceptable excuse. We have fans paying good money and receiving a sub standard product. If the product isn`t worth it either reduce the cost or don`t charge. We can always accept it for what it is and take on any recommendations instead of just blaming the user and being it up to standard.

Livingstons set up last year was completely different as they used QTV due to the need for multi-camera for VAR! Clearly since they’ve been relegated they are no longer using them and have cut back on the infrastructure.
Not excusing the poor service streamwise from Pars TV (especially when they upped the price to £15) but an explanation as to why Livi had good streams last year and nothing this year.

ParsTV was updated with a message early afternoon indicating that refunds were processed, sorry was busy earlier and just getting
time to catch up.
The ParsTV guys did a great job yesterday throughout the whole match attempting to resolve issue
Personally I thought it would have been resolved but part way through second half a partial solution made the stream a little better. We haven`t yet been able to identify the issue, which has never been occurred before. Away grounds can be problematic.

I probably use parstv about a 10-12 times a season when working offshore?
I can’t recall ever having an issue with the stream when we were at home since the investment in new hardware at EEP.
I have had some issues when we have been playing away from home but understand that there are things outside of the control of parstv and so I’m half expecting some problems.
I know the lads work hard to get streams out to fans all over the world and I am grateful for their time. They are not employees but volunteers, so deserve respect.
Yesterday was a bit of a disaster but understand that refunds have been given, which is the right thing to do.
In my opinion, the stream should have been cancelled before kick off, rather than persisting in trying to overcome a problem.
Easy to say in hindsight, but maybe less frustrating for subscribers ?

If it was away to Spartans then once again it`s extenuating circumstances due to facilities there. As explained parstv hands are tied.
My opinion is we try and get streams out so people can see the game. I thought the quality of the stream was decent considering.
Some opinions say ParsTV shouldn`t stream away, but I think we should where we can. It is more challenging but crisis like yesterday are very rare. To be fair, the blood pressure can be high on a few occasions while away 😁
Usually away games are a bonus within a subscription as it`s not always guaranteed.

Brian, I took out the monthly subscription for £22 on 13th July, so it`d have been the Spartans game.
I experienced buffering, if that`s the correct terminology. I`m sure I messaged during the game at some point. Frustrating.

Yes, you are right, the stream dropped a couple times, it`s an away game. Spartans is a small location and we do everything we can to get stream out for viewers and continue to overcome issues that are out with our control.
If we get a SKY budget we would guarantee a stream without problems. 😎😁

I can say with the exception of the Falkirk commentary that the service is night and day compared to ours, home and away.
Also sadly to say the product on the field is also night and day compared to ours.

Connor, we`re currently blaming the hardware (it`s old) . At home games we now have a brand new desktop, while away games it`s an older well used laptop
We did test there before so didn`t expect any issues. The issue isn`t the away ground per se, but that we don`t always take extra kit which in some cases helps overcome an issue. For example on odd occasions we have taken 2 cameras.
I was just trying to emphasise going to away grounds is challenging for a number of reasons. The Livi team did help the ParsTV guys a lot.
Also just trying to let people see the challenges faced 😁
Weemike, no issues with connection at home. Though we did have one game a year ago and the club immediately resolved.
