Poor turnout with 6 teams in the league and 12 in the cup.

Some Premiership teams have opted out of one or both competitions. Are Celtic, Rangers and Hearts playing in the Lowland League instead? What about Aberdeen, Motherwell, St Mirren, etc?

Here`s hoping the reserves and the under 18`s can get a closer venue so that people ca get to the game a bit easier.

The reserves’ 4-2 win at Palmerston was one of the most enjoyable games I went to last season, although as a supporter of Carlisle United and the Pars, that was a very low bar. I’m glad that the fixture is on again this season, just a 40 minute drive for me.

Yes, I`m hoping these games will get played at Rosyth or at EEP. Surely the Academy pitch is perfect for this and supporters can watch from the touchline. Really they should be building a small stand (although can`t see it in the short term) and all age group games and reserve games should take place here.

The games won`t be played at the academy because it doesn`t have the facilities for spectators that was confirmed at a recent meeting I attended

That`s a lack of foresight. Surely it would have been worth putting the necessary facilities in, rather than shelling out to play at Glenrothes, Spartans, wherever these games will be for years to come

Dalgety Bay would be an ideal option, good facilities and easy to get to.

From COWS -"All Dunfermline Reserves home games will be played at Ainslie Park, Edinburgh and reserve matches are scheduled to take place on Tuesday afternoons across the season."
TOTAL JOKE not thinking about the fans who want to go and see this

How much is this costing, Spartans presumably not doing this out of kindness.
The academy and reserves training on astro, playing games on astro then expected to step into the first team and play on a grass pitch is nuts to me.
Why can’t they play at east end?

Cos east end will be a tattie field by February

While not expecting EEP, even Pars Portacabin Paradise would be better or somewhere easier to get to than the outskirts of Edinburgh

Six home games in total for the league and cup matches, pretty sure the pitch could handle it.

The pitch couldn`t handle the first team games without being in a state.

I wonder what`s changed since I started following the Pars in the early 60s? The reserves played every home game at EEP. It was always the reverse fixture of the ist team`s. I wasn`t allowed to away games, so I went along for every game and we`d get the 1st team`s score at ht and ft. I don`t recall EEP ever being a "tattie field."
Not your average Sunday League player.
