Big shout out to Josh, first competitive match with Charlton and win a very difficult tie against Wigan away 1-0.
Sorely missing him in our team but hope it works out for the lad.

You might be able to watch Charlton live in the Carabou cup on Tuesday night on Sky Sports +.

Stretchered off in the 1st half. Apparently it’s a bad one.

Awful challenge, should have been a straight red but only a yellow given. Suspected broken ankle. Apparently Matty Todd was down watching him too.

Meanwhile, Kevin Nisbet hasn`t even made it into the Millwall matchday squad. He got 5 minutes last week and was an unused sub in the cup during the week. Wouldn`t be surprised to see him moving on?

Reading fans comments on him I don’t think they will be too worried if he is sold on. Just hasn’t worked out for him there.

Between injuries and a few lapses in judgement he’s done absolutely nothing there. They have had quite a few Scot’s down there including craw etc and none have made any real impact.
The sort of player the likes of Aberdeen should be looking at but would imagine outside of the OF no one else could get near his current wages.

Coincidentally, I read their fans discussing their best ever Scot and Alex Rae was the unanimous vote

Injury suffered on Saturday was not as bad as first feared; likely to be out for weeks rather than months.

Nathan Jones is not expecting Charlton Athletic to delve into the transfer market to cover the absence of Josh Edwards.
“We’re not sure on the timescale but it was ligament damage – no rupture or break which we feared on initial impact.
An article popped up on my X feed so got ☝🏻 from there.
Looks like if it was a serious injury, they would have replaced him.

Sometimes ligament damage is actually worse than a break…..
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.
