Good to see him in the squad. Hope he gets capped as we need new blood. Same for Doak and Johnston.
Badly need Hickey, Paterson Ferguson and a fit Tierney back too.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Clarke will go with his usual team and sub guys like Kenny McLean on every time. Too rigid in his ways with this team

After the dismal shambles in Germany the only picking Clarke should be doing is his nose.
When it came to the crunch his tactical and motivational skills …well, he just froze

He’s the only manager to take us to two major finals since 1998. I’m sure he’ll take us to another.
Some of us are just grateful to even get there but then again some of us are just never happy.

He`s earned the right to have another crack at the World Cup I reckon, although qualifying for that will be brutally difficult, despite the slightly expanded format.

He did a good job at Kilmarnock so deserved the gig but things have gone a bit stale imo.He has also been helped by the Euros going from 16 to 24 teams(only 53 teams are in qualifying)We would have been in more tournaments previously under that criteria. When we qualified in 1992 there were 8 teams and in 1996 there were 16.

Tino Livramento called up to the England squad so obviously not keen to switch to Scotland.

Bad news re Aaron Hickey -
Brentford defender Aaron Hickey is set to miss the majority of the 2024-25 season with a hamstring injury.
The 22-year-old suffered a setback during a training session last week and has undergone surgery.
Bees` head physio Nick Stubbings said: "The procedure involved the removal of the previous repair sutures and making a new tendon repair.
"Now we aim to start afresh and help Aaron return to his previous level of health and performance."
The Scotland international hasn`t featured for Thomas Frank`s side since October 2023 in a Premier League match against Chelsea.
