Good chance of winning this. I`d like to win it. So would the squad by all accounts.
If we do, I hope the diddycupists give it a break and enjoy the moment.

still remember the last final we got to. An absolutley abject display, 3 down inside 30 minutes and a relatively poor crowd (6500) at Dens

Play it at Starks and we could do it without leaving Fife.

And when you think Derek McInnes was playing, it shows how long ago it was……

Was that game not just a few months after the scottish cup final at that point pars fans were spoiled.

If we picked up some kind of form and getting to a final I think our numbers would be decent this time

Indeed. That was an expensive year for me as I flew back from Australia for both finals. I have never shared the view of some that "Diddy Cups" are not worth competing for. When you support a small provincial club that has not had cup success for over half a century, any silverware lifts the spirits, no matter how modest.

I would get the Diddy tag if we were a superior team to the main challengers, but at present we are not. We have to beat all the teams that are equal to us and a few that are better. That means we have to put the effort in, and if we win it, it will be a good achievement at this stage of our redevelopment.

Smashing, we should rid of the "diddy" tag and add the "MORE SMACKEROONIES" to the cup instead :)
