What does this boy have to do to get a start . Unreal that he isn’t given a chance .

All our so called strikes are well off it. He definitely isn`t any worse than the rest, bring him on. Are we not meant to be a club with a clear pathway from our academy.
c'mon the pars

Cooper scored our goal against Queens earlier in the season, don`t think he`s started since .

That because cooper is lightweight and isn’t yet a decent championship player, he was available, cheap and upped the squad numbers tho.
Sutherland should be out on loan getting valuable experience, we done the same with McCann back in the day where he didn’t go on loan and he hasn’t kicked on at all.

I agree Berkey. Sutherland should be out on loan getting valuable experience and building his confidence. We maybe could have brought someone else in. As things stand we only have one striker and as we know he is prone to injury…
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Play him from the start. He might just save our season. Stick with the same old & we are down.

First thing he did today was run in behind the defence, bring th4 ball down nicely and win a corner. He offers something different to Kane and Wighton and while he`s not going to getnus 10-15 goals, even if he nicks a few here and there and stretches defences then it`s worth playing him. Same with Cooper. He`s direct and he`ll get us up the park. He won`t win games on his own and he`s very much a work in progress but he can get us on the front foot and can chip in with a goal or two from midfield which is more than the others do.

The definition of insanity is persevering with the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. This is exactly what McPake is doing.

Taylor isn`t championship level yet in his development but I agree he should be out on loan playing mens football at a lower level.
He is still only 18 years old and isn`t going to be the miracle cure. I say that as someone who has seen him in a number of games.

It`s too late Bouncer, he`s already been appointed .net saviour of the season therefore he *must* start every game or we`re doooomed!

Taylor Sutherland is not the saviour, but when a team is struggling for goals, go with someone who is scoring ,even at a lower level , because when your scoring balls drop for you, shots get deflected and go in, so go with the person in form, same as Cooper ,scored then never got a start, only got 10-15 minutes , you have to play guys who are in goal scoring form .

I bumped into Stevie Crawford yesterday, and he looks every bit as fit as when he was playing. I reckon he might just be the answer to our goalscoring problems if we were able to bring him in to partner Kane up front. 🙂
Young Taylor could learn a lot from those two for an hour or so and then come on for Stevie.....
Not your average Sunday League player.
