Time to admit that this management lark is not for you, Wayne.
Maybe back to Everton or Man Utd as a striker coach?

Yeah, looks like it`s just not for him, has ge got the self discipline to inspire others?
I personally doubt it.
I don`t wanna go down like disco.

Have they managed to fix the pie supply issues?
Shame it hasn`t worked out for him. Really enjoyed watching him as a player.
I hope he manages to find something to keep him occupied and happy. Priviledge position but it`ll still be a big change as he`s not really cut out for management or tv work, although he does have a good face for radio.

That’s not a bad idea Raymie, I’d love to see what he’d do with Zirkzee 😳

If we wait until Pep is sacked we could get the two of them in as manager and assistant and call them Peparooney.

Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard - all failing.

I was reading Zirkzee was in tears at being subbed after half an hour. It’s not his fault he’s not good enough for the EPL

He`s a Dutch international who was one of the best players in Serie A last season. If he isn`t good enough for the EPL it would mean that the English top flight must be streets ahead of it`s peer leagues. And maybe it is.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Yeah, I really felt for him. It’s true he was having a stinker and the substitution was the right decision, but it’s a Sad reflection on those that jeered him off. He was clearly upset, I saw a lot of arguments and near fisticuffs with a few supporters taking those booing to task.

It`s not his fault Amorim made a horse`s bottom of it and had Eriksson and Casemiro in the middle, and that Mainoo had to come on. That was on the manager.

I heard from a friend of mine that Rooney agreed to `mutual termination` as to help reduce the money owed to him by the club.
With reports he was also funding stuff at Derby out of his own pocket he clearly just loves the game and wants to be involved. Would suit him well to team up with a highly respected manager and work with them to learn and then step back into management.

They were always going to be relegation candidates in that division regardless of who was in charge imo? They must have the smallest budget in the league?

Surely he has worked with plenty highly respected managers over his playing career already
