Ephraim Yeboah, looks half decent in terms of having some first team experience including playing regularly for Doncaster in first half of the season.
Has 2 goals from a loan period last year with bath city.
Interesting he was due to be on load at Donny all season but was recalled this month. This feels a better signing that some of the others we’ve been linked to.
Forward so hopefully makes at least the bench for tomorrow.

Obviously I recognise that, I’m not against the signing, I was only pointing out that he’s played 20 professional games in his career so far without a goal. Hopefully he manages to get a few for us but your snarky comment is not needed

According to Wikipedia, he has participated in 30 matches (doesn’t stat if they are substitute appearances) and has netted 2 goals. To me, this signing is poor, and is merely a means to fill the void left by loaning out Sutherland. In my view, it would have been wiser to retain Taylor. This seems to be another signing characteristic of Brad Holmes.

I think it’s just what we need.
Bringing youngsters in, they’re fired up, get them running at the opposition, maybe shake up the more experienced ones and give us all a right good chance to get some more points on the scorecard.
They’ve got to start somewhere and I’m happy they’ve chosen Dunfermline to do it!

Got to love some people on here - "sign an experienced player". Aye, cause the ones we already signed have really set the heather alight! While I agree a GOOD experienced player will be better than a potentially good inexperienced player, we don`t exactly have much choice. Incredibly, most experienced good players are already signed up.

This is a space where individuals can express both negativity and positivity. As long as the negativity remains non-abusive and non-offensive, it is acceptable.
Connor Young represents an exceptional acquisition for us. Am I somewhat underwhelmed by the two new signing who joined today? Yes, it screams of Brad Holmes.
Yes, we have signed experienced players who ultimately failed at the club in the past.
However, I do not believe that having a multitude of individuals within the squad under the age of 23 is advantageous. The current market is challenging, and for a team as underperforming as ours, we are inevitably limited to younger talents. This situation shows how badly run the club has endured over the years, leading us to become a haven for unproven players. Nevertheless, this is merely my opinion.
We have 14 cup finals in the league.

Just scrolled through the thread again looking for all this negativity. I saw one post that was pretty negative to be fair and two or three others that questioned the wisdom of signing young inexperienced players but wished them well.
On the whole it is a very positive thread.
I wonder if the posters who see negativity where it barely exists are ok….

Connor Youngs had a break out half season in League 2 this year….last season at Stirling he scored a whopping 3 goals all season, and the year before was in the Lowland league, but he’s classed as a Messiah in comparison to Yeboah……
Folk need to get off new signings backs and actually support them, or they will flop due to lack of confidence.

Pre-judgment is a tendency in us all, often without intention. Naturally, I do not find myself elated by today`s signings, and it is entirely reasonable to harbor skepticism.
However, when they step onto the pitch representing our team, I will support them. Ultimately, what I desire is shared by all of us: the success of our club in winning football matches.
I am deeply concerned about the possibility of this club facing relegation once more. That’s where my negativity is coming from. Fear of relegation.
