The "other Ronaldo" was more like a Sumo wrestler by the time he was 40, widders.
CR7 has kept himself in amazing nick to be still able to play at such a high level. We`ve had a few goalies still playing at 40, but outfield 40 year olds are extremely rare.
Eta. You shouldn't let your dislike of Man U, or his personality, cloud your judgement. He's been a fantastic footballer and his fanatical dedication to health and fitness has enabled him to have such a long and rewarding career. I'll need to try and get him along to some of the Pars school visits. 😀
