 Predictions v Hamilton

What’s everyone’s predictions for the Hamilton game tomorrow night?

I reckon a dull 0-0 draw, both teams will be too scared to lose.

I also expect a low scoring game, however the hope in me says we get a conclusive 3-0 win and turn a corner from 2 seasons of slim pickings.
Have a horrible cold so really hope this is on Pars TV.

I`m going to be positive and predict a 1-0 win for the Pars, or 2-0 if Chris Kane is playing.

I think that you are half right. One team will score a bit fat Zero……

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

A glorious, sweeping move on the slick astroturf in the 8th minute will see Young bag his first goal. A tight half an hour ensues but the Accies are dutifully picked off as they have to push for parity. They are swept aside 4-0 with some precise, attacking football, the fourth of which is a 44 pass move.

This carries into the Morton home match where a renewed sense of self-confidence puts a stuffy Ton to the sword 3 goals to nil with a returning Kane scoring a brace.

An unparalleled level of renewed vigour sees 1,800 Pars fans march to Grangemouth to derail the Falkirk title push with a....

....Sorry, my alarm just went off.

Nil nil.

My prediction is that it will be cold and the few fans who travel through will wish they never.

On the playing front I don’t see anything other than a game of very limited chances due to each teams playing style, if it’s anything other then 0-0 then I’ll be surprised.

A huge game, we could go effectively 4 points clear of them with our superior goal difference. I think there`s been signs of improvement under Tidser and I think the recruitment has managed to bring in 3 or 4 guys who at the very least add something that is better than what was already here.

The decision making in the final third is what continues to let us down, these 2v1 or 3v2 situations in attack seem to be getting squandered an awful lot, let`s hope we can be more ruthless entering into the latter stage of the season. Hamilton haven`t kept a clean sheet since November either, so really have to be taking advantage of that.

Prediction a tight 2-1 Pars victory

Pitch should be absolutely perfect for our style if play, so no excuses to get a goal or 2.

I`m going to say 2-1 pars. Something like Yeboah and Hamilton for us.

I think Hamilton fc will score, Oli Shaw always seems to have a good game against us.

I think the plastic pitch will speed us up. The new players are technically very good. If we score first we will score for fun. If not it’s a tough night. Either 1-0 to the Hamilton or it’s party time.

The new additions give us the edge over Hamilton it`s whether we do enough to create the chances to turn that into 3 points. 1-0 Pars in a tense affair with plenty at stake.

If Tidser lets the handbrake off , we could win by a couple . My fear is his cautious approach, and our inability to pick the right pass when we do get into the final 3d means a 0-0 is on the cards .
Be delighted to be proved wrong .🤞 Mon the D.A.

Agree king, the pitch has zero bearing on the p1ss poor decision making from the players in the final third so not sure the plastic pitch helps us as much as folk think.

The better players have better decision making so tonight would be a good time for the new players to show us that they are actually better than those they have replaced.

Agree that no pitch will improve decision making, Berkey, but a poor pitch is often cited as bringing the more skillful team down to their opponents` level.

Do we have the more skillful players ? I think we do, but given the new boys haven`t played many games together, are we a better team?

We`ll find out in a few hours.

No we are gash and preying that there are 2 worse teams than us in the league. Let’s not dress it up how bad we are and have been for a good few years.

Scrappy 1 - 0 win either way, if it’s not our way we are in deep bother.

So, pretty much home and dry if we win then?

The main requirement is to rediscover the scoring habit. Chances don`t come easy in this league. Early goals rarely happen. Certainly not for us. But scoring first is a big advantage. Our only win away from home this season came after we scored first. Can we win a second away game tonight? As long as we score one more goal than them, that will suit me. But failing that, don`t lose.

Weedge dwelling Pars fan, so excited that it`s almost a home game for me!

This excitement/positivity is also giving me away win vibes.. 3-0 or 3-1 to the Pars!

It`s a good surface for passing on, right?

With all the predictions on here this has 3-0 Hamilton written all over it!

Everyone predicted us to pump Airdrie and thats what happened there too.

Will take a 1-0 Pars win - it’s a must win IMO.

If we score early we score more. If it’s 0 after 75 mins we lose to a break away.
