Topic Originator: desparado

Need to make changes for this one.

Otoo and Oakley does not work. Don’t think Oakley can be bothered tbh.

I know Tidser won’t change much but me playing fitba manager would go with..

Tobi

Comrie
Bene
Mullen

O’Halloran
Hamilton
Otoo
Weatherspoon
Ngwenya

Kane
Young/Cooper

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

We may get some clues as to availability this afternoon when the reserves play QOS `behind closed doors` at the training ground. COWS doesn`t even say when kick off is!

What I`d pick:

Oluwayemi. Comrie, Benedictus, Chilokoa-Mullen, Ngwenya. Stevens, Otoo, Taylor-Clarke, O`Halloran/Wotherspoon. Kane, McCann.

What is predict:

Oluwayemi, Comrie, Benedictus, Chilokoa-Mullen, Raymond. Otoo, Oakley-Booth. Stevens, McCann, Yeboah. Kane.

They`re possibly worried that fans may break in to try and watch the game, Eck. 😁

also the 4-4-2 formation

Not sure exactly who is available but I’d go with the below. X denotes a position where we don’t have any one good enough so it doesn’t really matter who plays from the multitude of players who could play. I suspect otoo and boothe will play and prob McCann and yeboah so still plenty players getting a game due to lack of options to drop them.

Toni

Ngwenya Mullen Bene comrie

Stevens hamilton x x

Young Kane

As mentioned hopefully hampson gets some game time.

The post below replying to me is by one of .nets finest champions of mediocrity!

I`d go for this bunch in a 4-4-2
Strict instructions not to p1ss about at the back, get it long most of the time and get pushing on for the knock downs, loose balls and any scraps. Mix it up some of the time by getting it out to O`Halloran or Raymond to get past their man and whip it in the box. Get stuck in with a few crunching tackles early doors too, everyone needing to roll up their sleeves and boss their opponent. It`s not rocket science. I`d also be saying to McCann "look at the fkn size of you. Get those elbows in some faces". Stevens, Wotherspoon and Young on to freshen things up after 60 minutes.

Tidser would do well to get his philosophy in the bin and give me a shout to get me in to pick the team and tactics and deliver the team talk

Oluwayemi

Comrie, Benedictus, Mullen, Ngwenya.

O`Halloran, Otoo, Hamilton, Raymond

Kane, McCann.

Raymond is out for Friday, Tidser says he hasn’t trained all week and is probably going to be unavailable.

Young has a thigh strain, he mentioned. So dunno if we will maybe see a formation of 4-4-1

Kane up top and maybe Wotherspoon in behind him with McCann and Stevens out wide.

Possibly even Hampson behind Kane or at least in for the last half hour or so.

Oh no, have we had a man sent off already 😂. I would think we need to go 4-4-2 as well.

Apologies, I can’t help myself. Actually I think it would be great with 2 up top rather than 1-1.

Given the news about Raymond and Young, here`s what I`d play...

Tobi

Comrie
C-Mullen
Bene
Ngwenya

Hamilton
Taylor-Clarke

Stevens
Wotherspoon
McCann

Kane

Otoo, Yeboah and Oakley-Booth need dropped for their own good.

Great captain as he is, personally I think our better defensive displays this season have come without Bene - feels like a long time ago, but Fogarty and Young played really well together when we beat Raith at home early on in the season.

As such, harsh as it is, I`d drop him as I feel his lack of pace leaves us pretty exposed when playing a back 4 (he might be OK in a back 3 still). So, my team would be...

Tobi

Comrie
Chilokoa-Mullen
Fogarty
Ngwenya

Otoo
Taylor-Clarke

Stevens
Wotherspoon
McCann

Kane
