Tidser needs out, well out of his depth and a pure bottle merchant, rushed up the tunnel and couldn’t even give a post match interview instead flung his hopeless assistant to the media. Same pre match post match crap from him anyway
That has to be the worst pars performance I have seen, a bunch of guys going through the motions, if things stay the same we will go down, even the commentators said how toothless we were.
Is John the answer to keep us up, who knows least he had the team playing attacking football.
On thing is for sure tidser and his team need to go and he can take is training guide with him. If our new owners want to show how committed they are and how willing they are to keeps us in this league sign the cheques to get these balloons away from our club, ( lets be honest our new owners wouldn’t have known tidser if he walked past them in the street ), whoever suggested tidser to them should be shown the door as well,
I have followed the pars for 40 years, season ticket holder spend my money on match days at east end, talked myself into going last night. But after that, that’s me this season, and if nothing major changes won’t renew next season either.
Most of our teams contracts run out this year, keep comrie if he signs and Jcm, the rest can go. We need a better blend of experienced to youngsters

John McLaughlan would sort this out short term, he changed tactics and played to the players strengths depending on opponents

Tidser plays his way and his way alone.

We have more chance of staying up with John in charge.

Surely the cost of sacking Tidser is less than cost of lost revenue through being relegated and must be weighed up.

I have it on good authority that Gary Montignani has been working on a statue of John to be erected outside the main stand.

Nice one, fcda! We could all do with a laugh this morning.

After his stint as caretaker I got the impression John McLaughlan was glad it was over. He spoke of having sleepless nights and constantly thinking about the job he was asked to do. There must be reasons why committed football guys like him choose coaching over managing. I don`t know if it would be fair to ask him to step into the breach again.

Wee eck something needs to change though or we are facing automatic relegation.

Do you think Tidser is the man to save us?

No, I don`t. Far from losing the dressing room, it looks like he never found it. Whatever his message is, he doesn`t seem able to communicate it to the players.

I may be wrong but I got the impression J McL was glad his stint was over and wouldn`t relish another one. He might be in a position where he would feel he couldn`t really refuse though if jobs were at stake.

Your post about them not knowing him is nonsense. His business literally tracks every player in senior football the world over, that’ll include coaches. His right hand man is a tried and tested ex Scottish football player and agent, my understanding is he runs along with Cook the full football side of our club and he alone wanted Tidser before anyone else had an option.

Just because he’s based in America doesn’t mean he doesn’t have boots on the ground in the UK

You wonder what they work on all week aswell as set pieces are a disaster.

I rewatched the game back this morning, don’t ask me why, and after the game they were saying it’s as if the pars players are pages from different books, no one seems to know what there meant to be doing. Everyone else sees the issue that we have except the guy leading us.

Yet all we hear in interviews is the players are really buying into it and doing well.

Thing is we now have 7 games left. If we offered it to JMcL the fans would back him to the hilt & I think he could have a right good go at it. If we go down at least we tried. I’d rather go down fighting.

Tidser - Were down now. He’s not going to turn this round.

Give it to Joe Cardle until the end of the season and see what happens, nothing ventured

Just put all the fans names in a hat and draw one out.

Couldn’t do a worse job than already on show.

Careful now. I remember the same being said about McPake and his team.

I thought surely it can’t be as bad as it was live last night but yeah it was.

That’s a fair point I suppose.

Get someone in short term, Kettlewell, Murray. Honestly anything is better than another match watching Tidser ball. The club has two big weeks!! Sack Tidser and bring in someone with experience!!!

Kettlewell must be an option. Why else would he purposely choose to attend our last 3 matches?
