Surely that’s time up for tidser been an absolute shocker of an appointment. Awful play style and shocking tactics people laughing at us on social media about how bad we are. Yes I know the players are also dug meat but the playstyle comes down to him. Could have a goal in my garden and Dunfermline still wouldn’t be able to score. Problem is I reckon he will be here till the end of the season I just can’t see him being sacked. I hope I’m wrong though.

Wont be sacked, paid £80k for him and gave him a 2 and a half year deal which at £2k a week is another £200k plus…….no chance the board take that hit so soon.
eta I dont know his wages, £2k was a rough guess, may be a bit less.

They can easily write it off, they are in serious danger of losing the fans very early on under their ownership

No point flogging a dead horse. It’s going to cost to dispose of his services at any time so we are just prolonging the pain the longer it takes.

Totally done already.
Yet another disaster of an appointment. The state of him at the end of the game Ally McLeod style in the dugout. Clueless. Must be sacked tomorrow.

I think even saying we’ll finish 9th is ridiculously optimistic the way things are going. A lot of those players would be in contention for a Pars all-time worst 11.

He wont walk. Hes too arrogant and it’s a major embarrassment that would hamper his managerial career massively. He’d rather:
A) stay in and try to get us promoted back to the championship next year.
B) hold on and take the pay up when the board has had enough.

We can’t start next season with him in charge, he is complete to out his depth.
Never will he be good enough to be a Pars manager, should of stuck to part time football.

I think we all know, no matter what, he is not going to be our manager long yer
. He’s lost the fans, and when that Happens it’s very very hard to get back onside.

Many fans questioned the wisdom of appointing an inexperienced manager but as others pointed out some experienced managers have crashed and burned too.
However appointing an inexperienced duo was a recipe for disaster.
This Geordie fella had experience at……..Musselburgh before Kelty, says it all really.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I don’t know why folk want to keep talking about the debate on here at the time his appointment was made.
It’s actually irrelevant.

They will not sack him so early in his contract. They will think we can survive the playoffs.
Even if we don`t, they will fancy coming straight back up, and the crowds will return to watch us winning

Another 1 million plus loss on the cards with relegation. Surely David Cook has some serious questions to answer??? The new owners seem to be following the German philosophy in the running of our club. It’s not bloody working.

I think another relegation could be very damaging long term for crowd numbers. Yeah we walked the league last time down there, but the football was still turgid at times. And since promotion it’s been even worse.
A lot of fans seem to have had enough with the club at the minute, and with prices increasing and quality decreasing people will find better ways to spend their time and money at the weekends. Will be very hard to entice fans back off another relegation.

We seem to be making one bad decision after another.

Everyone`s different right, has their own perspective etc and I like to think I`m a pretty reasonable person. Try and give people the benefit of the doubt, see the human side of things and all that.
But... The last two games are up there with the worst back to back matches I think I`ve ever seen. Considering they were derbies as well (against two teams who are no great shakes btw) it`s unforgivable. If you add the Hamilton match as well then it`s an absolute horror show trilogy of away performances.
Something is catastrophically wrong at the club for an outfit of our size and stature to consistently stink the place out week after week and offer nothing, and I mean absolutely*nothing* last night, to get their largely patient and generous fans out their seats.
Players playing MILES below their ability and with zero confidence.

I’d love to see the data that proved to the owners and the board that Tidser was our man.
An under whelming appointment and incapable of getting a tune out of this squad, which I should say needs utterly gutted whoever is in charge.
Like it or not the only viable short term option was Dick Campbell to steady the ship, keep us in this league and gut the squad for next season.
I have never been so bored at a game as last night and the crowd turned 20 minutes in and some left at the second goal. Tidier will not recover from that so get rid and give it to JM until the end of the season.

Tidser does himself no favours with that cold and aloof personality, somewhat passive -aggressive. Difficult to see him ever forming a bond or connection with the fans.

As a Pars fan, I’ve absolutely no interest or need for a bond with the manager. I just want him to win games. Winning is all the matters. You’ll usually find that’s when folk start spouting the “he understands the fans” type of stuff.
We’re going through a really rocky few years and everyone is a target.
As soon as we start turning the corner and put down a solid run of form it’ll become “the new owners have been great” “the manager understands the fans” “it’s amazing how well the players are responding to the fans” etc etc etc
Still, i don’t think Tidser will keep us up this season.
