Have a feeling we will be stuck with the payment, till he finds another job. But owners have surely covered it themself!

Let’s do it right this time - get a proper manager in - Kettlewell for me! I would’ve said Lansa but he’s been first team coach since his reign and they are still clueless on field so his stock has dropped in my opinion!

Parfect, I think that’s unfair on Lanza, we looked good when he was making the decisions, he shouldn’t be blamed for having to work under tidser and his stupid ideas.

Also, on this, take Cook with him.

I’m sorry, people can try blame the investors and the owners, but ultimately this guy has had control of the running of the club for the last 2-3 years and its been an absolute sh*tshow in more ways than one.

If I was an owner, Id be livid at the latest waste of money and theres absolutely no chance James Bord knew anything about Tidser before being told he was the man for the job, not having that one bit.

it`s not even been confirmed by the club that`s embarrassing.

Why all the clamour for Kettlewell Motherwell fans described his football as brutal.

LEGEND85 I have seen Motherwell a lot this year and he got them playing really well, definitely looked like a top 6 club that would challenge for Europe. From the sidelines he never stopped talking to the players (more than almost any other manager in the SPL) definitely something that would help our kids along. I have no idea why the fans turned against him, perhaps they wanted to spring rather than run?

I’d put a player in til the end of the season and allow the club to look at better managerial options then. There’s not a lot of time left for a new manager bounce, certainly with the position we’re in in the table.

The only way we’ll get a decent manager in is if we let him have a say in the players who we sign. Tidser didn’t get that.

Cook should be exceptionally laser focussed on keeping us up now!

"Scenes when mcpake returns"

Just texted my mate something similar. Kettlewell appointed to the end of the season. We lose 4 games in a row and he gets hounded out. McPake is still on the payroll, so we throw him in for the last 3 matches, he wins them all 3-0 and we stay up by a point.

Then no-one has any idea what to do going into next season, but we sign 15 players anyway.

if anyone can, "Lanza John" can.....

"The only way we’ll get a decent manager in is if we let him have a say in the players who we sign. Tidser didn’t get that."

which would mean the owners after 2 months deciding to completely abandon one of the main reasons why they bought the club in the first place.

Not necessarily. That can be a long-term project. Short term we need to stay up and the January managerial change and new signings should have reflected that.

Instead we got a rookie manager and young players and threw them all in the mix hoping it would work.

Absolute lunacy when you think about it.

David Cook should be in the firing line as well. Sacking Tidser may not be enough to save us from the drop. The January window was a disaster.

Like any other job ,state a trial period to the end of the season with the remit to keep the pars up ,then negotiations for extended contract. .Two of the candidates are out of work ,so always better to in a job than out of one

John did alright in the time he was there but I wouldn`t expect suddenly changes with this squad. The quality is there but to me it needs a solid coach (which I assume John is based on his experience) and an experienced manager who knows tactics. What I would give to have the two Jimmy`s or Bert and Dick back.

I know what you mean, but in my eyes there`s an issue with confidence or attitude. Maybe both? Being honest, I`m could understand the team being annoyed. The running of the club in recent years has been a farce. No depth in the squad meaning players being guaranteed starts or even playing while injured, which then led to an absolutely disastrous season last year. First of this year we kept it the same.

I`m not making excuses for the players though. Tidser said it in one of this interviews that these guys need to realise how good they`ve got it. As others have said, most of this squad will be gone in the summer unless they buck up their ideas. Some probably think they`re goners anyway. If they`re downing tools, which I`m not saying they are, they need to remember that whoever might pick them up next will be watching.

Very sad that club has reached this low point, two managers sacked in 8 weeks. A very poor show. Caused by poor foresight and man management, can`t blame owners as they were guided by someone, presumably cook so he needs to do the honourable thing and resign. Two managers presumably financially compensated have lost jobs, with the inevitable bad pr, sorry Cook. Not all you fault, but a large part us, so please go, preferably at end of season, too much turmoil now

The nanagers lost the players, but players lost themselves. The bottom line its their fault. No one else is on the oark.
Many just strolled around on Friday, did not look interested, why? Scared they are out at the end of the season, so why try , or scared of relegation and they are out. Not going to mention specific players, but 4 or 5 never ran, never tackled, never moved to spaces. V embarrassing.
Hope it`s not too late to turn this around. Because I wonder what owners will do if we get relegated. Other than sack Cook.
