There’s a saying … people don’t leave bad companies - they leave bad managers.
Or to translate in football .. you don’t give up on a club in the poop - you give up on your manager.
Lenny. Did you watch him and his coach when the players were subbed. Did you see him arguing for his players when we were fouled etc. we will stay up because they feel the manager has their back. I have long been a fan of Chalmers. Coming good - really good.
Yeboah - it will come good - his best shift tonight.
Bene - at the end - on the park Lenny had some loving words with him ( if I could lip read).
Fear not - we are staying up.
Nothing in the championship is classy… grit will see you through.

You are not wrong. Lennon showed all his experience tonight, from the team he picked, to the tactics employed and the fight he got out of his players.
It`s bloody tough being a legend

So much love for the players coming off.
So many bums being patted. So many heads being rubbed.
Also, so much more aggression on the pitch.
All NL needs to do is get the players up for the battle for 5 more games, especially Hamilton and Airdrie. On the basis of tonight I think he`s going to get it done.

He was always on the sideline barking instructions and encouragement to the players as well.
He will garner more respect thanks to his career as well, which will help. Certainly more experienced as well.

It`s great to see us play what I call "up and at `em" football.
So much more enjoyable than recently.

There is a proper manager in town now. It’s long overdue. I’ve waited so long for us to make a good appointment and kick on.
Brilliant set up from Lenny tonight. Players clearly buying in to what he’s asking of them. Team showed a type of grit and fight I’ve never seen from them. Livingston are a very physical side but we refused to be bullied tonight and doggedly held on to our lead. Neil Francis Lennon has got exactly what this club needs and I’m so glad he is here. I’m buzzing after that.

Lennon was at them the whole game. Not just meaningless shouting but loads of encouragement. He was shouting for every ball to be closed down.
Credit to the players for their effort tonight first and foremost. That performance had Lennon written all over it though. We saw the fruits of a proper good manager tonight.

None as fickle as Pars fans. Somebody started a Lennon out thread on Saturday.

I`m pretty sure he was joking.

I was thinking Lennon had placed a fine system that if you played it backwards at any time, you would be fined 🤣. It was so enjoyable to watch that scrap in every area. Still feel we need to be stronger in defensive set plays for 50/50 wins, but very enjoyable.

Not so sure about that Parrot. The mass hysteria on the forum after the Ayr game and the general consensus that the manager, the new high profile signing, and all of our useless players would surely get us relegated, was the main topic.
