Would not blame the pitch, Hamilton got their goal and played everything in the book to waste time or frustrate us. We seemed to waste chances by trying one pass too much every time and how many corners never got past first man, more a frustrating performance than a poor one in my opinion.

I’d agree with parts of what he said, especially in regards to yet another shocking refereeing performance. Questions need to be asked about that.
Here’s my attempt at a positive spin on things. We weren’t expecting to beat Livingston and we did. We were expecting to beat Hamilton and didn’t. If things had been the other way round we’d all be happy right now.

Hamilton get the points and fair doos they battled away and looked a fair bit more dangerous than us in that 2nd half.
Really gutted with that result. Wednesday was excellent. 3 points and a performance to boot. Today was sh1te. A defeat and a poor show.
I`m trying to think positive. It could all change again in a weeks time.
It`s done. 4 games left. Let`s go again. We`re not down yet.

Can`t argue with anything he said, the pitch is dreadful and the bouncing ball stopped any momentum we have when it comes off the side of Tobi`s foot.
He not wrong about refereeing standards in Scotland either.
the worst thing about today was the needless goal we lose, we had 4 or 5 opportunities to get rid of the ball but couldn`t clear our lines and we get punished. We were in the same position several times in the match but don`t have a good ball into the box that someone can finish.

You can’t disagree with his comments on today’s referee or on Championship referees generally. The miss too much, the assistant referees rarely get involved, keepers hold the ball for much longer than the six seconds allowed by Law 12, free kicks and throwins can usually be taken from anywhere within 15 yards of the correct spot.
Some of these mistakes could be forgiven if the refs were at least consistent in their approach but you just never know from one incident to the next what they are going to do.
Many matches are simply lotteries with the outcomes depending on the ref.

Agreed we have no other choice but to go again next week and look for the 3 points against Queens Park. They are in trouble if we can do that. This mediocre team is what we have now until the end of the season so we’ve got to get behind them to push to stay up. Then it’s all change for next year.

I have never seen a referee being played by a team as much as Hamilton did today. The fact he was so incapable of seeing it was unbelievable.

Their play acting was crap but they kept doing it because the ref allowed it.

I’d say it was a fair assessment. Obviously he’s not wantng to condemn the players and is trying to keep their attitudes as positive as possible. I think we created a lot of our own problems today buy not just clearing the ball out the pitch when under pressure. It worked effectively against Livingston but, today we tried to pass it out of dangerous area’s and inevitably it led to Accies goal.
i was getting a bit annoyed at the amount of times we just punted the ball up the pitch in the hope that one of our players could get on the end of it. We definitely could have utilised the space on the right more. Most balls were played up the left or straight up the middle.
Still we’re not relegated yet and I’m not giving up yet. No mater how hard or frustrating it can be, being a Pars. COYP!

The one where he stopped the game because Tumility was down - thought they were only to stop it if it was a head knock? Looked like he stopped it as he got caught out by us going long and had no idea where he was…….then he allowed O’Hara to close the drop ball before he had even dropped it 🤦🏻♂️

Thought that was a fair summary of the game. The ref absolutely f*cked us out of getting something out the game imo.

Anderson is one of the most experienced refs going around now, he hasnt changed since he first appeared in the leagues over 10 years ago which says it all about the standards and development.
"can’t disagree with his comments on today’s referee or on Championship referees generally"
there are no Championship referees per say, the only ones you wont get straight away are the newest ones that have been promoted to category 1 or whatever it is called now but it wont be long before you do the way they are fast tracked.
Lennon`s comments on the game, id say off mic/camera he will be thinking very differently.

Good interview really, honest, and it`s true we dominated first half, but he identified our weaknesses, which we all know enough anyway.
Onwards to next week really.

Lennon has no choice but to keep praising the players, he needs them to believe they can win a few games in next few weeks.
If he gave his real opinion on them we`d be down now.
Blame the ref, pitch etc keeps them believing they were just unlucky today

Agree that this was sugar-coated and not what he really thought.

He was talking up his players which is understandable. I felt we had the ball in and around their box much more in the first half and a break of the ball could well have brought a goal.
The gameplan seems to revolve around getting it forward quickly and battling for every ball. When your squad lacks creativity as badly as ours does It`s easy to see why he would go that way although there were too many times when our men just seemed to kick it the way they were facing.
It`s not easy on the eye and the problem today was we came up against a very strong, hard working defence combined with a referee who seemed to decide early on that he was going allow far more to go unpunished than I`ve seen for some time. Unfortunately at times it resembled a mass brawl more than a football match.
Ultimately we spent most of the second half playing in front of them as we just don`t have the players to give the front men any decent service and most around me agreed that we couldn`t see where a goal was going to come from. For about the 30th time this season.

Let’s wait and see if he gets a wee bit fitness back. He’ll have experience at least, and can he be much worse than what we have now?

On COWS he`s hopeful Kane is back next week. He just has to be. This striker situation needs immediately addressed if we stay up.

Lennon not doing his credibility any good with this wanyama debacle.
I’m not sure what difference Wanyama would make if he was fit? Is defensive midfield really a problem position for us?

Defensive midfielder who is physical and can score goals from range and can use his height, brings a lot of traits for us, if he’s fit.
One would think he was brought in to help steer us from relegation but more so for next season with Lennon at the helm.
I was really optimistic going into the game Saturdays but as soon as I seen Kane was out and seen who the ref was, knew it was going to be one of those days.

I broadly agree with the manager`s comments.
I would like to see a video of the disallowed goal. Anyone in the Norrie have a clear view? Was the ball kicked out of the goalie`s hands? Or did the Pars player get to the ball first?
For me, the positive was that we had a lot of possession in the final third. It was one of those days where every ball crossed in (low or high) didn`t break for a Pars player. I think we missed the kind of ball that Chalmers or KRH can deliver.

I was in the Norrie.
The incident happened really quickly, but my recollection of it was it was bundled into the net by McCann and he didn`t even realise where the ball was

Had the perfect view of it - but it all happened too fast to really work out what happened. Keepers gone up under pressure, come down and hit the deck and balls popped out, McCanns fallen to ground and it hit his back and trundled in. Our celebrations were half hearted though as half expected a foul to be given, but not sure if there was one or not to be truthful.
