Toss up between Clay and Chiko-Mullen
Glad to read from Lenny that he is going to wrap Kane in cotton wool

Mullen or Clay.
Clay probably edges it with his part in the build up to the goal

Is it 100% certain he`ll be a Pars player next season? I`ve not seen that confirmed anywhere. Great news if he is. A future Pars captain if he stays long enough.

Matty Todd for me, the energy to drive forward from the middle of the park we have missed all season.
But McCann, Kane, Clay and Mullen all tireless.

GG Riva we have the option to extend it by another year. Whether or not that depends if we stay up or not is another question.
I personally think we’ll stay up now and he’ll be here next season.
As for MOTM it’s Clay for me. I’ve been really impressed with him the last 3 games. Mullen also had a good game yesterday but Clay edged it for me.

Nobody gets anywhere near Mullen, top quality player who if we can get on a long term deal will make us a fortune.
All the rest were just ok.

Cheers, AA. I was hopeful that MickeyDee was onto something. An option is just that, though. We can offer him a new deal. He can accept it or turn it down if he gets a better one from a bigger club.
I believe the Pars are very keen to keep him and will offer him the best deal they can so.. 🤞

Leeds described their sell-on clause for Mullen as `favourable` so imagine they will be due a chunk if we do ever get anything for him? Just hoping to see him in a Pars jersey next season.

Guy is a class act. Levels above the Scottish Championship. Never mind sell on fees, we’ll be lucky if we get to see a full season of him in black and white.

I think the club has the option to extend which is the agreement, JCM agreed to that as part of him signing with the club permanently from Leeds so it wouldn`t be up to him, barring there being a clause preventing that from happening (such as relegation). Let`s hope that`s the case, he`s an outstanding prospect and player at this level.

Any clued up stattos here ?
Our pathetic goal scoring this season must be about one of the worst in the club’s history, if not THE worst at any/all levels ?

I`m sure I saw something that said we were one of the lowest scoring teams in Britain.

Not sure if it`s the worst but I recall us having a shocker under Jocky Scott. I just checked and it was 91/92 and we scored 22 goals in 44 league games albeit it was in the Premier. That might take some beating?

There were many good performances on Saturday, and I agree with others above that Clay and Chilokoa-Mullen were especially good.
I also think Tobi deserves a special mention. Goalkeepers are often overlooked for MOM. Granted he didn`t have too much to do on Saturday. However, for me he has been one of our top players in recent matches.
* His distribution has been great - not only often very accurate but sometimes very long helping set up attacks.
* He often quickly releases the ball.
* While there has been the odd mistake over the season, he has made a number of really good saves and clearance punches in recent matches.
* He is prepared to come out very quickly and sometimes quite far to deal with issues (whereas while Deniz has been a great shot stopper he tends to stay back in his area much of the time).
* He is very composed with the ball at his feet and controls and traps the ball very well. A skill some of our players could do better.

......Rhino
I think it was McPake or Tidser who said that Tobi`s distribution and footwork was better than some of the outfield players. :)
He is one that if ( and it is a big if) we could sign him - he will be worth money as he develops over the next 2-3 years. Maybe if Lenny stays he might sweet talk Celtic into loaning him for next season if we cant buy/sign.
If we stay up we could do worse than try and retain in some way
Tobi, Fogarty & Raymond. ( the last 2 based on recent performances).
If we are patient I also think there is a good player in Yeboah at just 18 years of age

Hi Coventry, I read somewhere that Tobi’s contract at Celtic runs out at the end of the season, although I am not sure about this myself. Maybe a dot netter can advise better.

Tobi`s contract is due to run out this summer at Celtic, so he`d be available. As for the others:
Fogarty - contract with Birmingham until 2026, he`ll most likely be loaned again due to their promotion.
Raymond - Also has a contract until 2026 with St Johsntone, but it seems Valakari maybe doesn`t fancy him and should they go down might get released I guess.
Yeboah - contract with Bristol until 2026 as well, no interest for me, we need an awful lot better and I`d rather see us develop Taylor Sutherland

On Chilokoa-Mullen, surely it`s more than a one year option? Leeds wouldn`t have been talking about a sell on clause with only a one year extension on the table knowing he could go for free 12 months later or for peanuts in Jnauary? We gave Bray a 4 and a half year contract I think? I`d hope we have the option of 2 if not 3 for Jeremiah.

Scott Bain well out of favour at Celtic, would be a great signing if he is released in the summer and obvious Lennon connections.

Bain would be a fantastic signing, and one that isn’t beyond the realms of possibility. I can’t think of an obvious Premiership team that are crying out for a number 1 (Motherwell maybe) and he’ll surely be wanting to play First Team football.
