Plenty of endeavour and some intensity to our play but again we`ve not created anything of note. Very stop start game and Partick more than willing to slow things down and waste time at a very early stage.
Decent chance on the break for Thistle there. Looked miles offside but good goalkeeping by Oluwayemi.
Referee the plot a wee bit again too. Letting them off with come cynical challenges, letting them waste time etc. Needs to stamp down on things.

Strange that F*lkirk and Livi both have the sane 2 teams for their final 2 games, PT and Hamilton. F*lkirk are pretty much up though as their goal difference is vastly better than Livi`s. Can`t see them losing both games.
WE ARE SAFE!!!! I guess they`ll wait until it`s mathematically definite before they announce Neil Lennon signing a longer contract and a new top notch groundsman. Hopefully we can hang onto Tobi for another year as Mehmet still has a year on his contract.

I don`t get Partick`s tactics at all. So negative, barring the utter brain farts in our defense they carried zero interest into scoring goals. Surely playing against a team that doesn`t score, and you need 3 points, you don`t play like that. Maybe banked on Raith losing

That could get football cancelled but thank god we managed to hold on and scrape a draw. That was argubally the worst strike force in our history with O’Halloran and Yeboah upfront together and Wanyama looked like he’d won a competition when he came on for the last 10 minutes. We were incredibly lucky a few times with our defending in the second half but the main thing is we held on and hopefully that will be enough to keep us up (as surely Hamilton’s appeal will not be successful…)
I cannot wait to see the back of this season and hopefully we will have a successful summer and bring in some creatively and talent out wide.

Strange game. We had more possession, especially in the first half, but it took until the 90th minute to register a shot on target. Partick had three great chances to score but blew them all, yet in between they were happy to slow it down and waste time and make it an arm wrestle when they had the players to hurt us (especially since our entire back line looked all over the place at times today). Maybe they were banking on Raith losing but they should know that`s not how our league works.
In terms of our own team, I really struggled thinking of a Man of the match today. The only viable candidates for me were Tobi, Kane and O`Halloran. Even the usual suspects of Chilokoa-Mullen and Comrie played us into danger several times or slashed at clearances when put under any sort of pressure. Of the others, Clay and Hamilton were fine, Todd was energetic and Fogarty was arguably the best of the back three. The other starters and the subs didn`t do much although again Vooper looked keen coming off the bench and at least had a go at their back line a few times.
Final word on Nick Walsh, the referee. Wow. To think he regularly does Premiership games. Clearly doesn`t think persistent fouling, time wasting or making tactical fouls are worthy of a booking and is another in a long line of referees who let Brian Graham do whatever he wants in terms of leading with elbows, mouthing off about decisions, etc. You just knew the first yellow card would be for one of our players and right on cue it was (albeit it was probably deserved). Booking three players for dissent when it was a standard corner kick call and not a penalty or red card or dubious goal takes some doing too.

Take a point and run, thistle had all the best chances so lucky not to lose.
We looked almost competitive in the first half but did very little with the ball, second half we were very poor and ran out of legs.
Todd and Hamilton very poor in there again, gave the ball away constantly. Clay decent again. Absolutely nothing up top once Kane went off and long balls were far too easy for Ashcroft all day, we just don’t compete in the air.
2 games left and we can put the season to bed and hopefully look forward so some decent players arriving next year, as has been said there’s only a couple who should be near the team next year if we want to challenge.
Not sure why wanyama is getting anywhere near the park? He can’t actually run. I hope Lennon has better ideas in the transfer market than him!

Ground it out. Not easy on the eye but that point will keep us up.
Special mention for Tobi who decided to play in midfield in the second half. A keystone cop goalmouth stramash, we must have had 3 or 4 opportunity’s to clear the ball and managed to play ourselves deeper into trouble. Lucky lucky Pars!
Hopefully NL will stay & build us a team worth watching next season.

I`m really pleased that we got through the game and won an important point.
We had most of the first half play but didn`t really threaten (think I might have said that before...), with Partick having the only two real chances of the half. Decent save from the keeper at the first one.
Early second half play was quite even, but as soon as Kane went off the game turned and we struggled to hold onto it at all. It`s not just his goals that make a difference, it`s his ability to get us up the park. That really showed in the second half when he wasn`t there.
Not sure what the keeper thought he was doing whne he decided to go tyring to win a header 40 yards from his goal, but aside from that stupid moment he did OK.
I also thought Chris Hamilton had a decent game, doing what he does well in covering ground, putting his body in where it`s needed and winning some free kicks to take the pressure off in the second half.
The pitch is absolutely shocking. It looks a bit better with more grass on it but the bounce is as bad as I`ve ever seen and was like a game at Central Park.
They really had to stand up as a team in the last 20 mins and I`m pleased they got throguh it to get a good point. WEll done to them all for getting through that.

Job pretty much done I think.
We were tough but deteriorated with the changes in the 2nd half . There was no lack of heart but just quality here and there.
Fans were good, no boos, and excellent reception at the end.
Tobi showed superb confidence in the defence when he strolled back to the goals during the stramash. Probably thinking there are 3 of them there - I might have a go at keepie uppie as well.

Just remembered the pitch. It won`t be easy to play any kind of decent football on it. On the plus side, it makes it difficult for other teams to score too so Airdrie next week might win,but it won`t be by much, thereby eliminating any chance of turning around that goal difference.
It`ll be different next year when it`s either repaired or replaced and the squad is drastically different.
Let`s just write this season off, be thankful we haven`t went down (I know, I know, appeals and whatnot) and look forward to next year. We`ve got an ambitious owner that hopefully doesn`t go overboard with the spending (remember the 2 Jimmies era) but gets Lennon signed up and money is spent wisely on fixing the squad. It could take 2 or 3 transfer windows to get the team Lennon wants (if he stays), so some patience will be required.

Don`t think it`s got much to do with the groundsman.
It was the under soil heating that did it, subsequently the pitch got chewed up, and couldn`t recover. Last season sprung a leak as well, this season it baked the soil!
The pitch its been acknowledged needs investment, like the team!
I`m glad we pulled through, the pitch had a lot to do with our performance, but credit to the players, they took flack, but they are honest pros.
Glad it`s done, I really hope Lennon stays, always liked him, I think he`s made for us! And yes, there will be a much needed clearout.
