Very sad to see that Shaun Dennis has passed away aged only 55. He was an immense player for the Rovers, 453 appearances and more medals than anyone in their history. A real committed, tough, competitor. He may have been on the opposition but I always admired his heart and passion for his club. A true Rovers legend

Spoke to him a few years ago in the Abbey pub in Kirkcaldy which he owned at the time. Good blether about his games against the Pars etc. Decent enough guy. The one quote from the conversation that still sticks in my head is “when Norrie hit you you stayed hit”

This is very sad. I never enjoyed playing the Rovers with Shaun Dennis in their starting XI. He never gave less than 100% for the jersey. As others have said, 55 is far too young. RIP Shaun.

Died from a brain tumour
I lost my best friend from this only 3 years ago.
He was a fine player for the Rovers and condolences to his family and nearest friends
