Doesn`t it merit a thread? Classic breakaway goal from Palace after being stuck in their own half for the first 15 minutes!

Mon the Palace. Proper old school club.
Palace are one of those clubs you’ve got to respect. Based in London where it`s ridiculously easy to get swayed by the glamour of Arsenal, Chelsea, or even spurs, yet they’ve built their own loyal fanbase and identity. Proper club with proper values.
They’re not trying to buy their way to success either, investing smartly in youth, playing attractive football, and staying grounded. Even their ownership model and the connection with fans is miles ahead of a lot of so-called “big clubs.”
Selhurst might not be the most attractive grounds but it’s always rocking. Clubs like Palace are the soul of the Premier League and deserve to enjoy the fruits of their labour.

Get it up ye Pep! “Stay humble eh” Haaland 😂😂😂 they are so bad this season! Think Pepball is finished in England.
Very professional second half from Palace, even losing best centre half during half. Well done.

City threw everything at that Palace defence. All credit to Palace
Withheld all the pressure and took their chances(s).
Thoroughly enjoyable game and the best team won.
Congratulations to all Palace fans 👊

Peps been handed trophies on a plate, wether with inheriting great players or being given an open chest of money to do so.
Will he hang around when City are banished from the PL in the summer?

Tired of the “Pep only wins with money” narrative. Yes, he’s had resources, but so have others. City are 6th in net spend in the last 5 years.
1) Chelsea five-year net spend: £-783.58m
24/25: £-12.96m
23/24: £-153.68m (6th)
22/23: £-442.06m (12th)
21/22: £31.16m (3rd)
20/21: £-157.53m (4th)
2) Manchester United five-year net spend: £-565.08m

That`s official spends, how about the under the table fees? And net spend will be lower because - to Man City`s credit - they male a lot of money selling off academy players each year (including the likes of Cole Palmer). He`s all laughs and jokes about how good other teams are when they beat them 5 and 6 nil, but as soon as they lose he takes a huff. And he complains all the time about fouling when he basically invented the modern tactical foul. Haaland bottling out of taking a penalty was also glorious. Stay humble indeed.

Wheres Liverpool, current champions, in this list? City could be stripped of 2/3 titles if the charges ring true based on false data and income. Could also be punted from the league and potentially dragged through the real courts for financial doping and money laundering. IF found guilty, would Peps “success” still be lauded?
Peps a petulant child when beaten, along with some of the more senior players, KDB being one of them.

To be fair , and i don`t like Peps football , but VAR got it completely wrong. It should have been a sending off for the Palace keeper .
