I watched the Matildas play last night (the Australian women`s team) and the coach was Tom Sermanni. He is the caretaker coach filling in for the new coach who has just been appointed. He has coached the women`s team before. I checked wikipedia and it turns out that he played for the Pars in 1982/83. He played a total of 5 games. Does anyone remember him playing for the Pars?

Nope. Was that not the season we finished third bottom of Scottish football. Maybe the one after but we were absolutely rank then..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I remember the name, if not the player. According to the DA Heritage Trust he signed on 31/10/82, having previously played for Albion Rovers, Blackpool and Torquay. He only made 4 appearances and one as a sub but left before the end of the season to emigrate to Australia.
