BBC News reporting that Charlie Watson of Threave Rovers has died, aged 20. He had stage 4 cancer.
“Charlie Watson, from Lochmaben, continued playing for Castle Douglas side Threave Rovers despite his skin cancer diagnosis.
A campaign in his name has raised tens of thousands of pounds for research.”
