Club is really poor at communication. It’s something that David Cook needs to improve upon. To not even know our shirt sponsor is pretty poor.
Having so few local Directors and staff also doesn’t help now. Hopefully club trying hard to improve and expand all these things.

What does it matter who the new sponsor is going to be? And why do we need an update on it? All will be revealed very soon.
In future it would probably make more sense to have the shirts on sale earlier, so the sort of people who wear football shirts on holiday can buy them.
(It`s GAMDON btw)

Is this another example of unfair criticism of club/individuals?
There could be all sorts of reasons why there has been no announcement yet.
Maybe new sponsor wants announcement to be made on a particular date?
Maybe club is still in negotiations with former sponsor about some sort of deal?
Maybe new deal has only just been done and shirt manufacturer has to get shirts made up and sent to club?
Given that the new sponsor will want PR, maybe they are dictating the timetable?

Not really, no.
It’s the middle of June and we don’t know when the sort is being released for sale and who our main club sponsor is. Fairly easy to keep fans updated with a release date (even if it’s a month away!) other clubs manage perfectly fine.

Club update;
Many fans are looking for an update on new kits for next season. To confirm, we are finalising kit sponsors for next season and this needs to be in place before we can launch. This has delayed our plans a little, but we are working as quickly as we can to finalise this and get the kit out to fans. I expect this to be finalised before the school holidays start.

I agree as far as I`m aware Gamdom does not hold a UK Gambling Commission licence. So it’s geo-blocked in the UK. Meaning they are not legally permitted to operate or advertise here.
While it appears the club has entered into a partnership with Gamdom when we initially announced Lennon. It is likely they are focusing on digital marketing as the "brand" cannot legally operate or accept bets within the UK. This probably means Gamdom will not appear on shirt-fronts if I have understood it properly? Happy to be proved wrong on this though.

Gamdom where sponsors on Chris Eubank Jnr shorts in his fight with Conor Benn. The fight was in London. So not sure that`s correct.

There’s no block on them advertising here. It’s also not Gamdon that’s blocked it’s their industry that’s blocked in the uk, I.e. Crypto gambling.

The training kits launched so far give me good reason to believe we`re going to have at least one ludicrous kit but whatever. We tend to deal with Tier 2/3 kit manufacturers so there`s a clear margin for error. Albeit Adidas or Puma most recently never gave us much to enjoy. The Adidas kit in 3 different colors was the most insulting thing ever.
My one hope is we don`t have the white panel on the back of the home kit again. It was hard for me, a guy in my mid-30`s, to wear the home kit to weddings, funerals and other formal events with only the white patch on the back. I finally began to received respect when I had `Wanyama 44` emblazoned across the back in a jarring color of red.

I visited the club shop yesterday, the young lady serving was excellent, ideal for interacting with fans and public.
A decent range of new (to me at least) merchandise, I gave into temptation and bought a beach towel.
Costs range from reasonable to grossly overpriced IMO - £40 for a glorified t-shirt, no thanks.

We have had months to sort this out, months, and some folk will still claim the club have handled this just fine and it isn’t shambolic not having a kit 24 hours before our first game kicks off.
Lost out on tens of thousands in revenue already but its all rosey 🙄
Who is saying "its all rosey"?
Didnt say anyone said that part….😂 come on da, get with the programme 😃

This could’ve been nipped in the bud at the initial cancellation stage. A bit of transparency a simple, honest update: here’s the issue, here’s when it’ll be sorted. Instead, we get some half baked nonsense about the weather like we’re daft. It’s an embarrassment that we’re literally a day away from kicking off the season and still no clue what the kit even looks like. The longer this drags on the more shambolic it all feels.

I get the frustration … yet I think when the strip they are wearing just now was launched it was “early season” top. ie Preseason and league cup anyway. Hearts etc was always gonna be that strip. There seems to be a whole load of folks getting irate over something they don’t even buy. It’s like when a pub closes down and people complain to say “ government taxes are to blame. I loved to go in there 20 years ago when I first got married”.

So is this last season? We were meant to have this big kit launch, it got pulled last minute, and now? Nothing. No update just tumbleweeds from the club. They’re all for open and transparent comms when it suits them, but the second something goes sideways it’s gone. Fans are left guessing. But people don’t forget, especially when we’re about to kick off the season and still don’t even know what the kit looks like.

They have just made a record amount of money but there were obviously issuesinvolving the sponsors that had to be finalised. It really isnt difficult to figure that out. A wee bit more complicated than just printing shirts and selling them.

So we have 3 shirt sponsors. SRJ on the training/warm up kit, Gamdon on match shirts and KDM on kids /youths tops. I wonder how much more lucrative this is rather than one shirt sponsor, could be a good bit of business by the club.

Im assuming the actual kits won`t have the sponsor sticker and this is just a literal patch for tomorrow when we`ll need to have our new kit on as well as the new sponsor. Nottingham Forest and Chelsea have both started their league campaigns without a sponsor then got one once their season was already underway (and their kits already for sale) so it`s not like it`s the biggest strip gaffe there is. A substantial and record breaking sponsorship deal is the important bit.

Information supplied by Grok Ai in relation to Gamdom.news as opposed to Gamdom being main sponsor.
Gamdom.news Availability in the UK:
Gamdom.news is a sports news and content platform, distinct from the Gamdom crypto casino, and is not yet launched as of the latest available information. It was announced as the new front-of-shirt sponsor for Dunfermline Athletic Football Club in a record-breaking deal for the club, with the platform described as "soon to be launched" on July 11, 2025. However, there are no specific details confirming its current availability or operational status in the UK or elsewhere.
Key Points:
Purpose: Gamdom.news is intended to provide sports news, insights, and features for fans, but no official website or content is accessible based on available data.
UK Status: As it’s not yet launched, Gamdom.news is not currently available in the UK. There’s no indication it will face the same UKGC restrictions as Gamdom’s gambling platform, as it’s a news service, not a gambling site. However, its availability will depend on its launch and any regional access policies.
Connection to Gamdom: While branded similarly, Gamdom.news appears to be a separate entity focused on sports content, not gambling. It’s unclear if it will inherit any restrictions tied to Gamdom’s Curacao license or UK gambling laws.
Recommendation: Since Gamdom.news is not yet live, you cannot access it in the UK or elsewhere at this time. Monitor official announcements from Gamdom or Dunfermline Athletic (e.g., via https://dafc.co.uk or Gamdom’s social channels) for updates on its launch. If you’re seeking to sponsor or engage with Gamdom.news, contact Dunfermline Athletic or Gamdom directly for partnership details, but be aware that its non-gambling nature likely makes UK sponsorship legally feasible, unlike Gamdom’s casino platform.

Personally, I`m no fan of gambling sites sponsoring football teams, let alone sponsoring the Pars, regardless of the amount of money involved. It sounds like the currently "fictional" Gamdom news site has simply been announced as a way to circumvent the rules on sponsorship. It`ll be interesting to see if a proper sports website springs up or some sort of token gesture to keep the regulators at bay.

I hate to be *that* guy but the depiction of peacocks/peacock feathers is bad luck!

If you check out the Gamdom.news site, you`ll see a "Coming Soon" message. What interests me at this stage is the Gamdom News logo on the home page.
I think the logo would work very well on the new strip if it were set against a black background rather than a white one. The company logo is in green, as is the word "News", while Gamdom is in reverse-out white.
On a black horizontal strip across the five pinstripes on the front of the shirt, the sponsor`s logo could look quite nifty—just a suggestion.

However, in many cultures peacocks and their feathers are seen as signs of good luck, wealth and abundance, especially connected to the "evil eye". I want to be positive, so I`ll go for this as a "good omen".

That`s the way I prefer to look at it too. Peacocks are from the east, and in the east, they are lucky

Very true, but then you`re not married to someone who is ridiculously superstitious. No magpie goes without a salute!

Anything done to eccess is not a good thing. Most folk manage gambling and have fun but obviously, adiction is a problem.
No more so than alcohol smoking weed online games and forums ;).
Dont see anyone complaining about any of the other vices.
Is buying stocks and shares not just gambling.
I went to Perth once and enjpyed a great day.
I decided I would spend £10 on each race and pocket anything that came back.
Spent £70. Not unreasonable for a day out .
I think I got about £35 back.
Gambling can be fun if you are responsible.

I quite like the strip, I quite like the Gamdom logo on it, the sticker looks cheap and tacky tho. I hope this is a temporary measure and they will be made with the logo actually on the strip rather than an iron on patch.

I`m no fashionista but I`m glad we stuck with the candy stripes. I prefer black shorts too.

Could someone advise what the strips are like on the back please? Hoping for huge red numbers for us half blind folk in the main stand.

I think the strip would be better without the huge white block behind the sponsor. If it was cut out like SRJ was then it would be much better.

I suspect it might be. The pictures provided have the background of the logo being far too white, which suggests a hasty wee edit in Creative Suite to add it in. This would also explain the cancellation of a proper reveal where fans could actually see the strips.
