“ Commentary “ is priceless. Think it is IB we can hear…
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Surprised nobody has added their tuppenceworth from the highlights.
As was said by those at the game we looked all over the shop at the back first half and could have been at least 3 down. We did hit bar and side netting first half.
Second half was better and we missed a couple of good opportunities and hit post.
The instructions being bellowed from the touch line were, shall we say, very clear and audible….
Hopefully a better all round display is witnessed in our next warm up game..
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

I was more interested in the touchline comments too I have to say.
My former life as a manager came to the fore lol
First half we looked bare at the back and giving too many silly balls away.
We were fortunate it was only 1-0 at the break.
We looked like we dominated second half with some clever work up the left.
As last season though, our final touch was abysmal aside from a great effort off the post.
As Lennon aluded to in his interview, the players should not be overly criticised given they only got back late last night from Bulgaria.
It’s game time that matters at this stage not results so not overly concerned.
We desperately need a proven goal scorer though.
Kane is very unreliable and every fan last season knew it would be Dunfermline Nil every time he wasn’t on the team sheet

There was some decent build-up play but we were let down by poor decision-making and execution around their goal. The goal they scored was a bit of a sucker punch.

Might be in the smaller camp on this but I think we played alright? Certainly wayyyy more positive than major parts of last season Yeah we were let down by some poor finishing but everyone looks very keen to move forward. John Tod and Keith Bray are players I feel could be part of our XI for a long time to come

Average Par. … I don’t know when was the last time or indeed if there has been a time we offered a 4.5 year contract. Bray may well prove to be a Nisbet signing … a good season and he goes for good money … or maybe he will be here for a while. J Tod I suspect will go out on loan … very young by minutes on a man’s park ( unlike Bray) and needs them. Built like his dad … he may also be able to play forward or back or find his natural position as he matures. Most of the youngsters will gain great experiences in preseason and the league cup .. then go on loan. Taylor Sutherland has been top trumped with the arrival of Young. We need a seasoned striker and will get one … so does he become 1 of 4 strikers to call upon or will he be a 5th and better going out till January.
Yesterday I wasn’t looking for players to be great , I was looking for confidence and a bit of swag. Young had it and Cooper had it. Hamilton might have had a wee shock only getting a years deal. He put a good shift in with one very very good tackle and then carried the ball forward. He raced into it it from 10 yds.

I`ve only seen the highlights but the 10 Robertson seemed to be running the show.

Looked like we had plenty pace about us.
Otoo looked good, a big year for him, youngsters looked decent, but as the comments above say, will be good to go on loan, this time to a league team rather than Lowland.
Decent build up, but yes, not clinical in front of goal. Not a huge surprise
Clearly a bit of a bounce game, so Im guessing it`s `job done` in a strange way. But was surprised by the pace.
We wait for a few signings......
