I was reading the club preview and of the last game review only 2 starters from that game started last game out at East End and Bene will not start on Friday. The only remaining member of those 2 starters is Chris Kane. What a turnover of starting 11.

I am concerned about how we will line up, especially when the likes of Mullen and Amade may be late in getting back to rejoin the squad after international duty as well as Caceres being suspended, too.
According to a Rover friend, they were very poor against Ayr, and this could be a great opportunity, Vaughan has picked up an injury, I believe.

Excellent 🙄🙄 another top flight ref without use of VAR for a game that loves to make it all about himself.

I`m dreading it. I thought we would beat them this time but not with the players missing and the travellers being jaded possibly.
I see a draw at best but expect 0 points.
They will be keen to bounce back after their defeat last week.

If your the rovers manger it seems a fairley straight forward team talk, quick start and get stuck right into them, leave a few challenges on them and the younger players will go into their shell and we’ll score then comfortably see out a narrow 1-0 or 2-0 win.
We just don’t have the quality support alongside Kane in the final 3rd and they have people like easton who will win you games. We expected inconsistency from this young team but apart from 45 mins at st johnstone and the Arbroath game they have really struggled and are also prone to start slow and gift goals.
Struggle to see us scoring from open play, they will win all the physcial battles and if we are under pressure and have to go long it will just come straight back.
Would be absolutely delighted with a point. Without caceres we just dont have it and for every arbroath result there has been too many games where we have been poor.

Probably ugly football is the key on Friday to winning this.
Matty Todd should get a start and play behind a front two of Kane and another striker.
As Berkey said they will win the physical battles in midfield so get balls out wide and get balls fired into the box at every opportunity.

I felt in the first game, Rovers players deliberately left one on our players all game. The referee`s failure to send of Stevenson ,set the tone and Easton also should have been booked early on.
A strong referee, hopefully book their players early ,and stop the rough house tactics .

Salton our players just took that challenge by stevenson instead of going mad crowding the ref and giving the ref a bit of a decision to make.
It will be men against boys again on friday, we need up get streetwise fast in this league or even if we play some decent stuff we’ll be chalking up the defeats against the top 6.
Mullan sent off again, he’s another easy target, put him under pressure and he’ll fold, just like in the first game agaisnt them. A shadow of his former self.

He should never have been sent off in both red cards he`s had.
We`ll be missing a few key players on Friday but we`re still in a better position than last season. Keep Easton out the game and the wee team are pretty toothless. Easier said than done though. He single-handedly keeps them going.

Per NL on COWS Josh Cooper needs surgery on a double hernia and is likely to be out for 3 or 4 weeks. Bene was seeing a specialist today to see if surgery is required on his hamstring injury. Rudden was also seeing a specialist.

We have a good enough squad to beat RR. Cometh the hour cometh the man. I`m sure NL will get the team to rise to the challenge. It`s about putting in another good performance. We are in a far better place this season than last, so it`s about building on the performances to date and being arrogant enough to know we can beat them without being complacent. We are as good as any other team in this league, if not better. If we focus, remain disciplined, and put in the effort we will come out on top. We should have that confidence when we step out on to the park.a bit of belief goes a long way.

I know it was only a 30 second clip, but it was encouraging to see Chris Kane looking quite sharp in the training clip the club posted on Instagram. Also good to hear Tod, Amade and Chilokoa-Mullen all returned from international duty on Wednesday as I was worried that the latter duo wouldn`t be back until today at some point. Hopefully Amade can play, he`s vital to tje way we play. He`ll be a big miss when AFCON is on.

I really can`t see us getting a point, and I am usually one of the most positive posters on here.
With everyone available, I know we could beat them, but we will well short of that on Friday.
I`m not worried, though. It is what it is.
They will be stronger and likely to get the goal they need.
Some fans will get frustrated, and the questioning of Lennon`s ability will pick up.
I`m not looking forward to this weekend on dotnet, but I am confident we will be around the playoffs when it matters.

Our fourth home game in a row. Defeat is unthinkable. One point from 12 with some very difficult away games coming up. Our season could be going pear shaped very soon, similar to the last two and that would be shocking considering the money that has been spent on recruitment.
I can see Otoo, Todd and Hamilton starting this one due to injuries and the possibility of Amade in particular being rested after international duty although I am sure he will make the bench if he doesn’t start.
We simply have to win this one……
Goals? Well they can come from anywhere. We just need a rub if the Green that we have not had for a while. Four games in a row the woodwork has denied us. Kane, McLeod, Todd or Tod. A set piece an OG a deflection, who cares but we need to get right in their faces and start well…..we never do for some reason. We better tomorrow….Lennon the motivator? Let’s see.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

think we have all seen how this plays out numerous times in the past. 2 poor teams who are goal shy. Easton to get pelters from KO before clipping in a free kick just before HT and celebrating cupping his ears and sticking tongue out infront of NWS. 2nd half is like the alamo with 1 way traffic, pars htting post/bar on 2-3 occations and a wonder save from the keeper leaving a 1-0 loss.

A few of the injury doubts appear to have trained today going by the photos on social channels.
I feel it’s a good time to play them but we need to be back at the St Johnstone & Arbroath levels not the recent dross. At it from the first whistle and it’s very winnable.

For me it starts with a good performance and being focused from the start. If we do that the longer the game goes the more likely we are to win it. I think RR have had their spell. They have older players who will have peaked early and will now start tailing off. As a team our performances have been improving. You have to go into the game with a positive attitude and go out and win the game. No one will hand you anything on a plate in this league.

I`ve no doubt we`ll get it right but not until next season. This one`s gonna be up and down all the way.
Just some posts on here are screaming hopeful rather than optimistic, there is a difference.

Looks like the RR fans are just as enthusiastic about their prospects. From their forum in response to a fan saying they expect a tonking
"Perhaps exactly what is needed TBH, it will certainly put Robson in the spotlight if we do get a tonking, both from the fans and the board. The best option is for the Board to tell him he has to change his approach and play a formation that suits the squad and not make them fit his preconceived ideas.Â
Can the board afford to give him an ultimatum should we lose? may be tricky with some big budget spends on the horizon but, however Friday works out I think it may be pivotal in his future at the club. Obviously we all want a Rovers win but it does have to go hand in hand with an improved brand of football.
Apart from perhaps Potter he has nobody to bounce things off that isn`t of the same mindset (although I suspect Potter to be very similar too) and perhaps some kind of Director of Football would be beneficial to him and the club, just not Levein though"

I am probably like many supporters just cannot call the score on this one depends on how we start the game !
will take the results like last season though when we had them at home !
The biggest thing for us is to keep it tight the first 10/15 mins and grow into the game , we cannot be giving daft goals away to this lot ! and if we can score first well it`s a different game and then i would be quietly confident , and hopefully after the first quarter the lads have learnt a lot on keeping the ball and not getting bullied about the park !
it`s about time we got a home win too so here`s hoping and please stop hitting bar and post just score
Cmon Ye Pars we need a Hero !
