It`s meant to be 5c with <10% chance of rain, very mild breeze. Probably about the best you could hope for for football in Scotland, in January.
No doubt at all.

With sold out signs likely to be up on Saturday, I would hope they would have covers down. Temperatures are higher than they were pre County game during the day and overnight so I don`t think we will have to worry.

BBC had this yesterday but forecast currently appears to be a little bit warmer overnight and up to 4 degrees at kick off.
Can`t see it being frozen off.

Sorry if it`s been covered elsewhere, but can you sit anywhere (in the home end) or is strictly allocated?

All games are technically allocated seating. Just at most games you can generally sit where you want due to a large choice of empty seats, but as it`s likely to be a sellout/near sellout on Saturday, you won`t have that choice.

People should sit in an allocated seat, for big games. It causes trouble if folks don’t.I have seen so many arguments in years gone by.

I don`t quite get why folk shouldn`t sit in their allocated seats for all games. If I have picked a seat to sit in and paid for it,I don`t want some privileged idiot deciding they can sit where they want when they turn up for the game.

Nice problem to have I suppose!
Despite some concerns mentioned about any Hibs fans buying home end tickets, they would be highly unlikely to sit in a seat they`ve not been allocated to, purely for fear of being spotted and ejected! It`s our own fans we`d be more likely to have this problem with 😂

Are they always privileged idiots, or might some of them be folk who, for example, don`t want to get into confrontation with the group of rowdy drunk lads who are sitting in their seats so they find a couple of empty seats and chance their arm?
Maybe they very much do want to get into the confrontation but they are with their kids or elderly relative.
Or they saw folk sitting in their allocated seats and, reasonably, assumed that it was sit anywhere since it often is?
Or they realise that they would be behaving like privileged idiots if they turn up five minutes before kick off and ask the people in their allocated seat to move, which could cause a 3,000 person game of musical chairs.

Well, if they moved when asked to do so, they clearly aren`t privileged idiots.
But then they are choosing to play their own game of musical chairs.
You can come up with as many random scenarios as you want.... how would you react if you went for a cup of tea or a single fish and someone was sitting in the seat you had just warmed up?

Obviously you’re entitled to sit in a seat you paid for but I totally get why fans try their luck especially in cup games where they buy tickets and want to sit with their friends but that option wasn’t available as bought separately.
These things usually work themselves out 99% of the time but could be a problem in a rarity of a near sellout at EEP

I know that it`s not relevant, but every away game that I`ve been to see BVB, it`s an unwritten rule that you sit anywhere. Never seen any issues and it actually works really well.
