Going down for this one, only my 3rd away match of the season. Making a day/evening out for this as my son is on school hols. Will stay over night.
Tried to buy tickets on Ayr website but it says to go to DAFC official website to purchase but there is no option there to buy tickets for this one.
Suppose I will just buy tickets down there before KO..
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Went to it last year. Lennons first match was awful, I had my doubts as to whether NL could turn it around. Look where we are now.
The worst bit a bout the match was, pars ultras outside. They were threatening female security staff, how tough they were with facemasks on.

Ngwenya was a colossus at the back tonight. Strong in the tackle and on the ball. What a turnaround.
Only concern is the two going off. Tod had taken a knock earlier and was ok to continue then went down and went off limping down the touch line. Abdulai was stretching his groin area and then went down just before half time. Last thing we need is another couple of muscle injuries.

Great result against what has to be said a very poor Ayr side. Delighted for Bray with the goal. There`s a hell of a player in there. Thought we looked solid if a little sloppy at times. Really exciting to be on this run and winning 3-0 away from home while being understrength and not firing on all cylinders.

We did well... but boy did we get some luck 2 or 3 times.
1st half apart from the goal we were pretty even on chances although we were well ahead in possession and driving forward.
I really enjoyed our controlled possession and sharp passing throughout.
As has been said ... doing well coming into the biz end of the season - unlike Arbroath who are bottling it again.
So it looks like Partick we have to beat to get to a play off final -Arbroath dont want up.
Four observations
1. We are a TEAM
2. Cooper was well sore coming off the park at the end - hope he is ok
3. Lucas Fyfe - was loving everyone coming off at the end and was getting huge love back - squad love in to the extreme - great to see.
4. Given the points difference and an eye on the semi - expect a change or three on Saturday .... TOB, Hamilton and Bray
Oh and I do think TOB could be a number 10 - his skills are better rewarded nearer the box

I think it is pretty much wrapped up for the play off places. Rovers for their remaining games would need 4 wins from 5 and the Pars to lose all games. Time to start to rest some players?
Raith Rovers and Queens Park can still catch us, and both of them have winnable home games coming up this weekend. We have a tough away fixture against Plastic Whistle.

Great result and already done just about enough to guarantee 4th and a play-off spot.
3-0 on prediction league and on the coupon had Bayern double with a bet builder of Dunfermline to win, Dunfermline to keep clean sheet, Kane to score and over 2.5 goals. Shame only had pennies on it but paid for this weekends coupon :-)

They could, but they play each other and both have St Johnstone to play and neither has shown anything to suggest they will win all their remaining five games.

Take that any day of the week but that was a hard watch. Very poor game of football. Can’t say I saw too much sharp passing that Coventrypar saw just lots of loose passing and continually giving the ball away.
Hope Tod is ok for the semi and the playoffs as that’s where we will be at seasons end now.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Don’t know why Ayr let Curtis Main go on loan.He is a huge physical presence,a really strong player. Would even consider him for us!

Only on .net can someone find negativity in a 3-0 win.
That was as straightforward a win as you could get. Apart from the shot past the right hand post in the first half and the one that hit the post in the second Ayr created very little. Our defence was excellent. We controlled possession for the majority of the game as far as I could see. Ngwenya, Gilmour, Cooper and Fraser were simply excellent. Kane stepped in for Tod and led the line well.
Praise for the manager and his staff as well, they`re managing this squad excellently through this busy couple of months. Every player looks on it. Well done to all.

Surely you can`t complain about anything after a 3-0 away win?
Now I know who booed us at half time!
The previous 2 seasons seem a distant memory.

It`s hard to believe folk are still hypothesising about whether we`ll make the promotion play-offs when you consider our current form which has been maintained despite a few injuries. NL`s management of the situation over the last couple of months has been outstanding and I don`t see why it shouldn`t continue.

@PARrot - I was just replying to Parsmad in that his post implied it is only Rovers we need to be concerned with. I am also not convinced it is time to be resting players (yet). Lets get the play-offs mathematically secured first.

If we were 10 points behind a 4th place team who are in form like we are just now would you fancy your chances of overtaking them with 5 games left?

NL said AT had wrenched his knee but wasn`t sure how serious it was and Abdulai felt something in his groin which was a bit of a mystery.

I honestly can’t even see any of the teams currently on 36 points accruing our current points haul by the end of the season. This league is so dog eat dog, especially from 5th to bottom so there will definitely be points getting taken off each other from those teams.
Not to be complacent from our own perspective of course and I’d expect NL to continue getting the best out of whatever squad he puts out in the congested run in.

Decent performance against a poor Ayr team, looked a bit light up top in the 1st half and bar the goal no team had any clear chances. better 2nd half again when we moved the ball quicker and created a few chances, totally controlled the last 25 minutes with keep ball. Years since I have seen a Pars team away from home have so much of the ball and keeping it by playing simple passes.
Fraser and Ngwenya were both outstanding.

Agreed, particularly with 2 of them only having 4 games left and Raith, Queens Park and Morton having to play each other.

Looks like we defended well. The passing for Brays goal is brilliant.
Ayr sound like they may have even worse injury problems in forward areas than we do! A couple of results should see them clear of the relegation zone though.

Wow ……….
I would have taken a draw but that’s some result. Puts us in a really strong position. Game in hand + only one point behind Arbroath with a better GD.
Wow………..
We don’t want draws with the current worst team in the division do we?

Good summery by the guy, same injury problems we are having.
Thought it was a penalty last night at 4.12, his video surely confirms it?
