That`s good news. I`ve got to admit, over the time he`s been here I`ve been a bit underwhelmed, but you can see he has undoubted talent. I just wish he could impose himself more on games. To me, he looks like one of those players who thought they had made it when they were 18 and spend the rest of their careers just sliding down the leagues, dining out on past glories. I keep on hoping he will really kick on, I still have the feeling he will have an important role to play over the remainder of the season. Looks like the sort of guy who will do well in the really big games

He has pretty bad luck, just as he really comes into a run of good games he gets an injury.

He was really playing well against St J, I felt he was our most effective player, then the injury, you could see the anguish on his face. It`s a tough life being a footballer, I hope he gets a run once he is available, there`s a player there for sure. This is the first club he`s been where he has played a decent number of games- where do you go from here?

You make a lot of good points and I can only go by Lennon interviews where he’s at pains to get it through to players, they are actually good and give them belief.
Matty Todd is a good example.
At one point his head was down warming up as a sub but he got his chance.
He took his chance and now is getting deserved praise.
As for Tash, he’s clearly intelligent and may not be a bruiser type of player but the ability is there.
He can knock on in his career now.

I appreciate he scored the winning penalty but I think when that feeling of elation eventually wears off of the Fanbase, the realisation of what TOB really is will set back in.

Whether it be how we set up or his general playing style, he just doesn’t cut it. If there is a “ player in there” it must be easier escaping Alcatraz than it is breaking out of TOBs nature!

I recall one of the other players said they couldnt get the ball off him in training. I have watched him alot in games and he is very good on the ball and recycling it. In the semi`s I thought the occasion, bigger pitch and the way premiership teams play suits him. The championship is a different style of play. I thought playing in more forward positions and if he can use his pace he comes in to his own. He twice put in crosses from wide positions that would have been goals on another day. Especially with Chris Kane getting on the end of them. Maybe there is some truth to the comments above, but in a recent interview he said that U17 and mens football are very different. They are of course, but if you have the football brain and skill its always there, its just working out how you get the best out of it. I like Tash, at his age his best years in the game are in front of him, You shouldnt look back for sure but live in the moment

Guy set up two great chances in the semi, and ran his socks off, and still people come on here and slag him to the hilt 🙄

On Tash I would be the first too admit it I thought he was just another Joe Chalmers for a while just get the ball play it back to the defence and repeat. In the games leading up to his first injury this season there definitely was a change I don’t know if he realised or Lennon has a word with him but he was getting the ball driving at players picking out passes that our other midfielder either were getting told to not play or just couldn’t play. Then the injury came and we startED playing really well so I thought his time with us was done but it seems he is playing for his future it feels like he’s been one of our better performers in recent weeks and the way he took to the semi final and turned it in our favour will always been seen as a reason we won it

Having played in midfield himself NL must be a good judge of midfielders so he must have seen Tash`s potential and gave him a one-year deal. Unfortunately injuries have interrupted his season but Saturday suggested he was finally settling into the squad. Hopefully this latest injury is just a blip and we have sufficient games left in the season for him to make his mark. His penalty on Saturday at least suggests he has the temperament for the big occasion. If Gilmour gets suspended Tash may be a useful replacement to have.

He’s a talent. Like many, just needs a good run in the team and stay clear of injury. He’ll be a big player for us over the May games.

He is big powerful and athletic. The type of player we will need for the potentially very hectic schedule ahead. Hope he gets fit again soon. All hands to the pumps..

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

This 100% - folk formed an opinion on him as a player, I assume based on last season, and are just refusing to change it.

The team and Tash were doing well up to his injury up in Perth, after that we went downhill, hope he recovers quickly.

You couldn’t really have watched Joe Chalmers much.
