With reduced ticket prices I am hoping for a big Pars turnout for this one. Looking at Cows there doesn’t seem to be a huge amount sold so far.
Surely we can muster 7k Pars fans for this one ?
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

It`s on BBC TV which won`t help the attendance.

I would have been expecting a big attendance too but as you say not looking likely when looking at the seating map.

The area usually populated by section NW looks particularly sparse, are they not coming?

Very poor if it’s a low turnout. Everyone praising the club for the prices then sit at home and watch it.

This 100%.
Fair enough, there`s always going to be a few who watch from afar, and genuinely can`t make it for a number of reasons. But if everyone around the town who is suddenly a lifelong Pars fan now we`ve made the final, and assumes they deserve a ticket to Hampden, put a bit of coin behind the turnstile tomorrow, that would be nice

I`m a new Par. I`ve only lived here for 3 years. Originally from London and a West Ham supporter. Season ticket holder for the last two years. My personal view is that we should take support wherever we can. Also if you`ve already shelled out for a season ticket and a Hampden ticket with another one on the horizon then cut people a bit of slack. It`s expensive and times are tough.

Or, the new support around the town could take the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the team vs Arbroath, and put a few quid directly into DAFC pockets before they head thru to Hampden

We should be packing the place out but in saying that I think I prefer the die hard 5k being there than the 10k day trippers.

I think given the occasion you will get people at the game from tge surrounding area who are not ordinarily Dunfermline supporters but support other clubs typically Rangers or Celtic. Its an opportunity for supporters to bring their family along. I recall last season when the club did this whole families came along which is good to see. I used to go as a child with my father and thats how I ultimately became a supporter some 55 years ago. Long term investment!

The game`s tomorrow, you don`t need a ticket today.
If we had already sold loads this thread would be full of rage about them being bought by Celtic fans.
