With reduced ticket prices I am hoping for a big Pars turnout for this one. Looking at Cows there doesn’t seem to be a huge amount sold so far.
Surely we can muster 7k Pars fans for this one ?
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

It`s on BBC TV which won`t help the attendance.

I would have been expecting a big attendance too but as you say not looking likely when looking at the seating map.

The area usually populated by section NW looks particularly sparse, are they not coming?

Very poor if it’s a low turnout. Everyone praising the club for the prices then sit at home and watch it.

This 100%.
Fair enough, there`s always going to be a few who watch from afar, and genuinely can`t make it for a number of reasons. But if everyone around the town who is suddenly a lifelong Pars fan now we`ve made the final, and assumes they deserve a ticket to Hampden, put a bit of coin behind the turnstile tomorrow, that would be nice

I`m a new Par. I`ve only lived here for 3 years. Originally from London and a West Ham supporter. Season ticket holder for the last two years. My personal view is that we should take support wherever we can. Also if you`ve already shelled out for a season ticket and a Hampden ticket with another one on the horizon then cut people a bit of slack. It`s expensive and times are tough.

Or, the new support around the town could take the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the team vs Arbroath, and put a few quid directly into DAFC pockets before they head thru to Hampden

I think given the occasion you will get people at the game from tge surrounding area who are not ordinarily Dunfermline supporters but support other clubs typically Rangers or Celtic. Its an opportunity for supporters to bring their family along. I recall last season when the club did this whole families came along which is good to see. I used to go as a child with my father and thats how I ultimately became a supporter some 55 years ago. Long term investment!

The game`s tomorrow, you don`t need a ticket today.
If we had already sold loads this thread would be full of rage about them being bought by Celtic fans.

A few really disappointing comments here. Life is expensive and full of commitments. Should people need a certificate of merit to prove how big a fan they are before going to Hampden? These so- called "day trippers" might turn into die hards of the future.
I can`t make it tomorrow night due to childcare? Am i OK to still go to Hampden? Who do i get to sign it off?

You need to include season card holders to your statement. A very poor show from them it would seem.

I`m a ST holder but won`t be at ANY play offs as can`t make midweek games.
My bank balance is grateful even tho I`m gutted to miss games & I`m thankful the games are on tv.
Not everyone`s circumstances are the same and not everyone can just suddenly shell out for extra games on top of a season with a 4 home game cup run, an unexpected semi final & final, potentially 3 - 6 play off matches, and for some of us, a very expensive World Cup trip at the end of it all!
Anyone wants to give me the winning lottery numbers, please feel free 🤔🤣
COME ON YE PARS!

It’s a bit daft comparing a one off game with a Saturday 3pm kick off to a play off game with a 7:45pm kick off on a Tuesday night.
I’m on holiday from Wednesday and will be there tomorrow. When the club makes a goodwill gesture with pricing, I’ll always make an effort to be there.
Some Pars fans might already be on holiday or have work commitments. Let’s stop bashing our own supporters. If you can go, great then get along. If not, it is what it is. There will hopefully be a good support there tomorrow. I’m looking forward to the game.
If you build it, they will come.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Seriously, you can`t read and interpret 2 separate posts that are clearly not aimed at the 99% of fans on this board?
Nobody is talking about you, or any of the other actual Pars fans. These comments are aimed at the folk who have never been to EEP before, and likely never will again.
Fair enough, let them enjoy the glory of the cup final, but anyone is saying is that it would be nice if they bought a ticket for the playoffs as well, considering that money goes directly to the club.
Nobody is suggesting anyone should be stopped from attending Hampden, or that anyone doesn`t deserve to go, or that anyone sarcastically needs to ask permission, but surely it`s not too much to suggest that it would be nice if the "part time" fans took advantage of the cheaper tickets and turned up tomorrow, filled the stands and showed support now as well as the 23rd?

Keep rereading the above post, you`ll relise eventually that I`m not talking about folk who regularly, or occasionally, follow the Pars. Is it too much to suggest the city gets behind the club now, in the playoffs, instead of waiting for the final?

I suspect there may be a few ST holders who buy a season ticket to support the club financially but are unable to attend regularly. They are included in the announced attendance for League games but if they can`t attend a one-off game like tomorrow`s the reported attendance suffers.
