It’s a total mismatch out there but a front 3 of tod, Morrison and Tash wouldn’t get you top 3 championship so not surprised they are offering nothing. Not a game for players not up for a fight like Tash and tod.
Kane needs to come on 2nd half, even if just to give them something to worry about and occasionally win a 50-50. Otherwise it will continue to be one way traffic and a cricket score.

Huge call starting J Tod directly up against Maede whilst having our quickest defender in Abdulai out of position in midfield against a tean like Celtic and both have backfired.
Game has resembled when you got the play the year above you at school and spent lunchtime chasing after the older ones.

Good effort in the 2nd half
Lennon’s plan to hold them in the 1st and have a go later, obviously didn’t work.
Missed Kane badly, none of the out balls were sticking, and Morrison/TOB were not putting any pressure on the backs.

Glad they took off tash. He was strolling and I thought Lennon was going to elbow him on the byline.
Kane and Rudden were that attack we needed. Wished they’d been on from the start although zak needs more time. Thought Andy Tod had a good game as did Matty.

Glad we managed to do ourselves justice in the second half and put in a decent performance, because that first half was honking. The long ball to Oakley-Boothe and Morrison was just putting more pressure on us with neither able to put in any sort of challenge to ever make it stick.
Some weird choices in the starting line up. Leaving Amade out and not having anything up top were questionable calls. Glad he managed to figure it out and make the right changes. And I’m glad we got a goal to cheer in the end.

Not just today though. I`ll hold up my hands and say that Lennon has forgotten more about the game than I`ll ever know but I`ve never seen someone get so much game time that looks so lackadaisical, won`t challenge for a header or tackle.
Surely in every position you want someone that can influence the game?

I think Lennon did Ok he knew the two strikers that came on at halftime would not of lasted 90 minutes so we had to try and hold out to halftime.
The first goal was a nicely chip over the top just out of reach and Maeda was on it in a flash. If he had missed that I reckon he’d have been subbed. Round of the team. Remember the gulf in league positions!!

I assume you missed the club’s first League Cup Final ?
Therefore by deduction you must have missed one or other of the subsequent two ?
Would 1991 be on that map ?
Or are we looking at another combination of Scottish Cup/League Cup finals ?
