We would have stood a decent chance of getting past St Mirren.

Always difficult to be impartial when your own team is involved but had Motherwell not recalled Ox it’s hard not to think what might have been watching the dross on offer in the 1st half.

Looks like the Pars will be coming to my local stadium again next season, unless Thistle can find an equaliser and a winner. Don`t have much sympathy for them. Ashcroft kicked Andrew Tod all over the park.

The offside freeze frame is a bit of a joke. Doesn’t help.
My initial thought was that he was onside.

Not sure why Turner took chalmers blasted from similar position while ago goalie had to make a decent save

I think it`s better for the Pars to have Thistle in the Championship next season than St Mirren, who would have come down with a parachute payment and would probably have been favourites to go back up as champions.

Time to stop these silly play offs. Partick finished 2cd and
deserved to go up. I would say 2 up 2 down, and if there`s
to any play off them make it 3rd bottom in the
Premiership and 3rd top in the Championship.

Yeah u can`t really think he`d improve us, really don`t care what he does as long as its not with us.
Having watched both games of the final its a bit of a sore one to take as we`d defo gave st mirren a game. Maybe all those fixtures just caught up with us in the end, onto next season. Coyp

It was the goalkeeper errors, honestly think that’s all it was and the build up of fixtures wasn’t the reason.
We were in control of the game for most of the game, Partick had a decent spell when Watt came on which had we rode that wave without the blunders, think we would’ve been ok.

I actually thought we looked very leggy in the second leg, we looked done.
Similar to Thistle last year to be fair as well - silly amount of games if you finish 3rd or 4th.
C'mon Ye Pars!

I much prefer the English play-off system. It`s crazy that the 3rd and 4th placed teams in our Championship have to play six games to get into the Premiership.

I think in such small leagues it would be acceptable if 11th in the Premiership played 2nd in the Championship.
