Livi
Cove
Stranraer
Brora

Easiest draw for us with a chance of progress. Its a bit of a joke that 1st seeds always get a home tie v 2nd seeds though, just another example of Premiership bias.

Fairly sure East Kilbride is more than that.
7-800 I’m sure or do you mean how many tickets we would get?

We`ve knocked out the holders of the Scottish Cup this year. Opportunity to do the double.

The way this competition is set up is it inevitable that the Championship team will always play the Premiership team away from home? That`s the way it`s always been with us I think. In fact we may have beaten SM in Paisley a few seasons ago.

The competition so they can bring out the cup

Remember losing to them through there in same comp a few seasons ago. Can’t remember a win….might be wrong…memory not what it was…

What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

We did beat them in that cup I’m sure too, we were wearing a yellow away strip and we were 3-0 up at HT. Finished 3-2 and Andy Ryan and beadling were on the scoresheet. Would need to look it up to confirm.

I`d imagine it almost certainly will be on TV. Dundee Utd v Arbroath is the only other tie that would be a cert. They get so many picks that the likes of Aberdeen v Queens Park and Falkirk v Ayr will likely be on live too. I get that they organise it so the top seed has the best chance of going through, but from a TV standpoint, you`d think having the top seed away to the 2nd and 3rd seeds would make for better matches to broadcast.

That 2019-20 season we won our group and played Celtic at Parkhead in the next round. Beadling equalised to take the tie to extra time but James Forrest got the winner.

That was also the Covid season where games ended up being played behind closed doors.

Was that not the season that finished early?

The covid season was 2020/21.

My mistake, DA-go. Covid arrived around February 2020 and meant an early finish to 2019-20 but it was the following season when we became accustomed to watching streams of games.

Good chance of having 9 points wrapped up before having to go to Saints at least.

No disrespect intended to our 1st 3 opponents, but we ought to be aiming for 3 wins , but let`s not forget . I think we failed to get out of our group last season by a single goal .
Let`s try to avoid that next time .
