Watching from Bergen ๐ณ๐ด tonight. All the pressure on England ๐ด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ, who can blow hot and cold. Norway are always good for at least 1 goal. Their attacking players are quite potent and Norway have scored at least 2 each match this tournament when playing a full strength side.
Dumped Italy ๐ฎ๐น out in the qualifiers, and Brazil ๐ง๐ท in the knockouts.
Don`t underestimate them.

It`s hard to see past anything but a reasonably comfortable England win. Take Haaland away from the Norwegians and they are little above average. It`s not that I think England are amazing but they`ve too much quality in depth for Norway.

Norway had their chance to take a firm grip on the quarter final when a goal up Sorloth couldn`t make his mind up about what to do and did nothing with himself and Haaland breaking on the England goal. Now it`s all square and it`s a case of now waiting for the inevitable. England`s defence does look a bit rocky but when you`ve got the world`s best midfielder and best striker you`re always going to be difficult to stop.

I`m not convinced by `snicko` at all. The signal that gets shown is far too clean to be a real signal.
The push before Norway`s 2nd - I don`t really get it, both of them are pushing each other and the Anderson goes down like a sack of spuds.
Still I think England deserved it, and have a good chance in the semi!

Find England really hard to watch. So often the ball gets played back and forth across the midfield then out wide into a decent position... Only for them then to a) have hardly anyone in the box and b) the wide man cuts inside repeatedly rather than mixing it up and hitting the byline.

Dave, England haven`t been great but neither have Argentina. Both keep finding a way to win though Argentina now look like they are running on fumes. As the tournament progresses and Messi finds it more difficult to recover between games his influence on matches is becoming less and less. I don`t know who will progress from either semi but is football coming home? It`s never been more likely.

Ultimately good teams win even when not playing well. When you get to this stage of tge WC I think its anyones game, a moment of brilliance, a mistake or luck can often determine the outcome. I think any one of the semi finalists has a chance to win it.

Yes, the Swiss were good and they looked the likelier winners until the sending off.
I also agree about Kane. Has perfected that dive and Gordon must be practising with him.
I really hope the PGMOL and Willie Collum have been watching and seeing a lot of diving dismissed. Itโs been a real pleasure

Think this then Argentina due to Messi being MLS poster boy. The others I guess come and go.
Teams like England have made it due to having a relatively easy route there - winnable group, DR Congo, Mexico (ok conditions maybe factored in slightly), Norway - not exactly a route of footballing powerhouses.
