Dunfermline Athletic Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of Nigerian forward Olamilekan Adams on an initial two-year deal, with an option for a further extension.
The 21-year-old joins the Pars after a spell at Czech side SK Dynamo České Budějovice after making the move to European football last season. Adams made 18 appearances in the Chance Národní Liga, scoring three goals and providing one assist during his debut campaign in the Czech Republic.
A left-footed attacker who can play across the front line, Adams arrives in Fife after gaining valuable experience during his first season in European football.
A former Nigeria Under-20 international, Adams now arrives at KDM Group East End Park looking to continue his development and make the next step in his career with the Pars.
Everyone at Dunfermline Athletic extends a warm welcome to Olamilekan and wishes him every success during his time at the club.

Good to have some pace upfront to help scare defenders into sitting a bit deeper which creates space for midfielders.
Ticks a few boxes this signing, hopefully he settles quick and comes onto a game

Surprised at another striker tbh.
Maybe one wide player that NL was quoted as looking for and that will be that.
I imagine that we will see some of our current squad going out on loan now.
Davidson, Rowe, Young and maybe E McLeod if the wide player is a wing back.
Personally I would like to keep McLeod and sign a wide midfielder/ Winger….
Let’s hope the new boys ( and they are very young) settle in well and bring some physicality, energy and skill to the team.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

He’s not a striker. If he plays, it will be on the left, I fancy ?

Dunfermline have completed a double signing with the capture of Olamilekan Adams on a two-year deal.
The Nigerian forward joins after impressing in training with the East End Park outfit.
The 21-year-old last played for Czech side Dynamo České Budějovice.
After coming through the ranks at Remo Stars in his native Nigeria, Adams sealed a move to join FK Varnsdorf in the Czech Republic in 2024.
The Nigeria U/20 internationalist then joined Budějovice last season.
Dunfermline boss Neil Lennon expects Adams to take time settling into life in Fife.
But he is hopeful the pacy youngster will prove a shrewd acquisition in the long-term.
“Adams is a powerful left-footed striker,” explained the Pars boss. “He’s good with his back to goal.
“He doesn’t have a great deal of experience, so he might be one that will slow burn a little bit.
“But it’s good to have options of strikers in the building.
“He’s a little bit of an unknown quantity, but the last couple of days in training he’s looked great.”
Following the arrival of 19-year-old Ugandan Allan Oyirwoth on loan from New England Revolution, Lennon is happy with his double signing.
“Both of them will bring power, which I think we lack a little bit – running power and obviously a physical presence,” he added.
“They’re still quite young, so there’s a bit of work in both of them.
“I’m really pleased with both of them.
“It just gives us a bit more strength in depth as well because we’re starting to make up the numbers now, from the squad that we had last year.”

He was playing 3rd tier of Czech football last season. Let’s hold our horses on him until he has played a few games. We went to a relegation battle game in the top league in May, and would be genuinely annoyed if the Pars didn’t beat them. Hopefully it works out for us though!
