It’s time it was ditched.
Every time we switch to 442 we look so much better, why can’t we just start that way.

it isnt a 352, if it was it might have a better chance of working than the 343/3412.
and when they start 442, it has rarely worked and needed changing to a back 3 on most occasions. its the same problems no matter the system, whether thats in attack or defence.

I don’t think Lennon knows his strongest team to start.

We are far too wasteful in possession, and John Tod had another stinker today. Get Abdulai in, an 80% fit Abdulai is streets ahead of a 100% fit John Tod.
This is Andy Tod`s world and we are lucky to live in it.

Agree with GJS93, a 352 would be better than this, we`re playing with 3 forwards and 2 midfielders, and we`re getting overrun in midfield every week
442 still leaves us 2 vs 3 in central midfield, and we don`t have any players that can play wide left either

Jealous the 352 would be fine if you had 3 in the middle of the park but we don’t, we have Andrew Tod walking about in there who doesn’t help amade and gilmour.
I’d argue at the moment we’re playing 3412, drop Tod and swap with Allan who will play the attacking midfielder and suddenly we’ll start competing in the midfield again and look more dangerous going forward.

As Lennon said in his post match we weren’t playing it down the line enough in the first half he wants the players out wide but the deliveries have been terrible from our wide players this season so we just get exposed to quick counter attacks and every long ball to our defence is a bomb scare
