Jilly Cooper’s next Bonkbuster has a soccer theme, so she has been wining and dining some legends.
Her favourite Scottish joke as told to Sir Fergie:
Three mice were discussing who was toughest.
Aberdeen mouse tells how he ripped a mousetrap apart. Edinburgh one bragged
he had snorted a pile of rat poison. The Glasgow one sidles to the door, and when asked where he was going says “ I’m away to shag the cat”
