He has announced he isn't going to defend his seat of Aberdeen South for the Conservatives. I didn't realise he has been accused of TWO separate charges of sexual assault on men in the House of Commons Strangers bar and one was against Labour MP Paul Sweeney. One alleged assault was in October 2018 and the other in February 2019. For some reason the investigations by the Westminster standards watchdog are still not complete. Thomson claims Sweeney's complaint is politically motivated.

Have a look at the BBC Politics Scotland website. It's a bit confusing but they definitely refer to two separate incidents. It sounds like the 2019 incident was reported before the 2018 one!

If he was innocent he'd be taking Sweeney to court for these allegations. Truth is he probably can't remember as he was out of his skull at the time.

Allegedly off his face when it happened. Not exactly going to end well for him in court.

Mr Sweeney, who is the MP for Glasgow North East, told the Scottish Mail on Sunday he was left feeling "mortified" by the alleged attack in the Strangers' Bar
According to the paper, Mr Sweeney said he was "paralysed" with shock after Mr Thomson "groped" him in the bar.
He said the alleged incident took place in October 2018 after he had invited a group of his old Glasgow University friends for a tour of the Commons.
They later went to the Strangers' Bar for a drink where he claims they were interrupted by Mr Thomson, who was "drunk to the point where he was barely able to stand up".
Mr Thomson then allegedly grabbed at Mr Sweeney through his clothes.
Mr. Sweeney who looks very grope able btw was mortified and paralysed what a fekin wuss where wis the Glesca kiss ?

Towk . I don’t know of any other high profile Scottish politicians in a similar situation..... I know of one high profile....ex ....Scottish politician who has questions to answer soon.
