The master wordsmith seems to have put his foot in it in his article in The Times promoting his flying visit to Scotland today.
''.... the people of the UK have always achieved more as four than as one.''

Apparently there's a small village in Orkney called Twatt. A popular line was 'We've already got a Twatt in Orkney''.

He's come to visit despite previously claiming a pound spent in England is more valuable in Scotland (he said Croydon and Scotland as he isn't actually aware of anywhere north of the M25). Why is he so desperate to save the union?

Is Boris acting or behaving like someone who is desperate to save the union?
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

No need for Boris to worry, plenty of cash flooding in from Russia - no questions asked, unless your from Salisbury!

So Boris now advertising a job at 100K a year, to deal with the media and make government statements.
I know he really can't be arsed with the job, but isn't he supposed to be in front of the cameras?

As a compromise couldn't Johnson conduct the media briefings from a walk-in freezer? That would keep everybody happy.

A few days ago I was thinking that Ruth Davidson would apply for that job as she ticks all the gob S**** boxes required. It seems that she is about to be given a peerage for her services to the independence movement in Scotland though so that will put an end to that theory.
Baroness Ruthy of Moothy.
Seem to remember she cited as her reason for chucking Holyrood was so that she could spend more time with the Bairn. Can only assume then that she is packing her bags for Londinium?
Her constituents wonβt miss her as she has hardly held a surgery while in office.
Good riddance. A nasty individual.
