He doesn't think he's the best person to lead the case for Scotland staying in the Union. What are we to make of this?

He seems to have taken everyone by surprise. None of the political commentators approached so far had an inkling it was going to happen.

Brian Taylor on Radio Scotland is saying the pressure to resign came from the MSPs at Holyrood who weren't happy with him. Douglas Ross is being touted as a possible replacement as leader.

Think he was told to resign wee eck the indy ref is gaining momentum maybe because of him ..who knows ..but he was a bit out of his depth in any case ... he needs a haircut, his glasses are a size too small, his dress sense has alerted the fashion police and he is a quisling

With the number of indy parties seemingly poised to pop up I fear there is a iceberg about to appear on the horizon for Scottish independence.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

Douglas Ross. Pffft. The man who swears people were cheering and applauding Boris in Orkney. What chance do the Tories have of increasing their vote share in Scotland when almost all of them are in complete denial of the reality of politics in Scotland. They only policy they have is to follow their masters in London slavishly, supporting every policy they espouse never doubting, never questioning even when those policies are proven to be detrimental to the people of Scotland. They don’t care about Holyrood, they don’t care about devolution and they don’t even care about Scotland. They only use Holyrood as a platform an echo chamber for Tory mouth pieces in WM. Cuckoos in the nest the lot of them.
What an opportunity we missed in 2014.

Untruth Ruth caught telling porkies again. Surprise surprise...not. Every time she opens her gob it’s a lie. What a nasty vile person she is.

A few days after lambasting John Swinney for apologising because he accepted he made a mistake, Douglas Ross has apologised for deciding to run the line at Kilmarnock v St Johnstone rather than attend a VJ ceremony in his constituency yesterday.

I would have thought an ardent British Nationalist whose constituency has a strong military history would have been delighted to have attended a celebration of VoJ day and used the opportunity to empathise with the Japanese people for being the subject of the USA’s A Bomb experiment .
Instead he chose to run the line in a Scottish football match.
There hardly seems a day goes by where Dross does not make an bottom of himself.
The dream team of Untruth Ruth and Dross have not got off to the best of starts now have they?
It’s going to be a long few months until May for the Tories in Scotland fighting to get up to the heady heights of 25% max....at best.
