Leads to a government enquiry into itself, they fine themselves the best Coronavirus response in the world, no money was wasted and they were a complete success....
You know the drill.

We disagree on a few things but that is almost completely how I think this will pan out too.

It`s all pretty cringeworthy.
The government didn`t really know what they were doing last year, and Cummings was a part of it. Now he has been kicked out, and his sole aim appears to be to have Johnson replaced with Rishi Sunak.
Expect quotes along the lines of "They were all clueless... well, all except Rishi", "They didn`t care if people died, but Rishi did because he is clever and kind and electable", etc.

I am waiting for Cummings to release his new book: "How to rewrite history to make yourself look good and other people look bad".
I think his method involves weaving big lies between obvious truths that no-one will challenge, i.e. "bears sh*t in the woods, the Pope is catholic, I told everyone that the coronavirus was really dangerous in February, Johnson is a hopeless leader".

It was always going to be a high risk strategy for the Bumbling Oaf to appoint a Weasel as his Chief Confidant.

What did folk make of the interview tonight? He doesn`t seem to see anything wrong with unelected people like him effectively deciding who should be PM. He only seemed to accept jobs so he could influence policy regardless of who was in power. I couldn`t understand his argument about the lies on the bus during the Brexit campaign. Was he saying it was justified because it wound up the Remainers?
