And yet you posted a YouTube link the other day from Salmond where he was prattling a load of nonsense about how independence could be achieved and yet you now claim there is no escape route.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

You asked what was Alba`s plan for Independence which I supplied a link...Did I say I agreed with it ?

The quicker both Salmond and Sturgeon are out of politics the better for Independence, both devisive characters in the eye of the public.
That all said I need reminding what she achieved in power other than the failed attempt to lock up Salmond and create a Scottish Energy Company, and delete WhatsApp messages.
The security services have done a right one on Scottish Independence .

Will be interesting to see the direction Northern Ireland now sets off in with the regards to Westminster.
Sunak declaring they have the best trading terms with a foot in both camps, if only Scotland had voted to remain 🤔

Does anyone in the DUP have a sense of humour? They demand to be treated like the rest of the UK whilst reaping the benefits of effectively being part of the EU - unlike the rest of the UK!

I don`t think it matters who is the driving force for independence, it will always become personal with those who support the union, simply because it will always be taken personally by those supporting the union - remember any leader of the snp is by default threatening their any unionists personal identity.
in fact it`s already started with hamza
IMHO, the only way we could realistically bring any unionist on the journey is to allow and accommodate their britishness ...and there are examples close to home where individuals can have tangible connections and rights and feel part of a different country to the one they live in
edited to say this was in response to the earlier post saying, The quicker both Salmond and Sturgeon are out of politics the better for Independence, both devisive characters in the eye of the public

I think the best strategy is to wait until the old Unionists die off. The younger generation don`t have these emotional ties to the Union. I think that must explain why support for independence is holding fast around 50% although support for the SNP has dropped.

I think you take a lot more interest in SNP conferences than I do - in fact in all things SNP. They seem to be an obsession of yours.
Most voters don`t go to conferences. What`s your theory as to why support for independence exceeds support for the SNP? I`m sure you`ll have one.

If anybody still thinks that being tied to WM after all that has gone on in that cess pit in the last few years is still the best that Scotland can aspire to is frankly bonkers.
Scotland is heading down the drain……along with the sinking ship that is the U.K.

There`s been plenty opportunities since 2014 but no work has taken place to advance Independence.
To think we all thought wee Nic had a secret plan, more fools us.
The only way to gain Independence is vote SNP ha ha
10 years wasted and the Independence movement split down the middle. England must be laughing at us as they count the money.
Whether 7 or 57 nuSNP MPs get elected this year it will make no difference whatsoever as London won`t make the same mistake they made in 2014.
So such it up if you think the party in charge will ever deliver Independence to Scotland.

I was clapping like seal at Conference when wee Nic promised us our own Energy Company. How nieve was I, felt totally ashamed with myself when I realised I`d been lied to.
And they`ve still got suckers believing the nuSNP will lead them to independence.

I think Ministers are entitled to around £100K but SNP Cabinet Secretaries and Ministers have frozen their entitlement in excess of their basic MSP salary since 2008 and that excess goes back into the public purse. I think it averages around £15k pa for each member.
