If Labour get in. Great news. It`ll be filled with people smugglers and moored somewhere "up there" in the "north of Scotland". Fantastic news for the rural economies.

If Labour get in? This isn`t even remotely a Labour policy. It was the ramblings of a labour official/a hopeful future candidate on a radio show.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

What about a ferry or two? Theyve been more than vocal on the lack of them so farβ¦

If that`s the sort of views their candidates hold though...

Candidates suggests more than one Jake. This was the musings of one person who isn`t even a candidate yet. I dare say if I spent a few minutes googling I could read about all sorts of bonkers things said by activists from every political party. Wouldn`t mean if that party held power those ideas, spouted by one party member, would be implemented.

They just might as well be closed

And yet the only barges holding refugees and asylum seekers are in England.

A member of a prominent Labour think tank specifically. I`m so sick of British politics being filled with slimy little weasly C**ts

When Unionists are not on high alert and don`t have to refer to the `precious Union` they let slip how they really feel about Scotland.

Director of Labour Together - a Labour think tank. He`s not exactly insignificant. It`s not just what he said, it`s that whole ignorance of "up there where it`s out of sight".

The further North you go the more expensive it gets, my sister lives in Aberfeldy and she is paying a fortune.
Nice to know that wee DRoss`s sister lives down the road from her and pays the same.

Thanks Oz - interesting.
Why are UK prices so high? Cost of importing gas? Green levies?
