No party in Westminster will permit a vote. The genuine hope would be that ENGLAND decide they want independence, which will never happen as it`d expose just how lopsided things are in the UK.

It`s the same old argument - `Now is not the time` - and it never will be the time as long as Westminster has to strive to adjust for the historical mismanagement of the UK economy, infrastructure and social services. That will always be their priority but the likelihood is things won`t get any better so there will always be something more pressing in their eyes.

Parts of England are set to run out of drinking water in 10 years supposedly. There is absolutely zero chance they give us an indy ref when they will be flogging us for more natural resources when their reservoirs run dry. Well thats if its true mind you.

Yeah England is going to be running out of water. They have already started the process of building new reservoirs.
And although my eyes were open
They just might as well be closed

The more chance of independence, the less chance we will get a s30
It’s not rocket science. David Cameron only allowed it knowing the union would win in 2014

If, the ONLY legal democratic route to independence is a section 30 order from the PM, which one is going to give it while opinion polls are pro independence?
Not a single one is the answer.
David Cameron thought he’d nip it in the bud with the rise of the SNP in the 90’s and gave ‘permission’
Alex Salmond knowing independence was unlikely wanted the third option of Devo Max included but was denied.
