 Reform can`t run a bath...

Well, they`re struggling to run a local authority as it`s "hard".

It sounds to me that they have come in with a view that bottom up based budgeting would save loads.

They are probably correct.

But shoving a bunch of people in who have got little experience in doing something like this was only ever going to end in disaster. And even if they could make it work, it is never going to be anywhere near quick enough to meet their expectations.

Maybe they would have had better luck if they did their jobs instead of obsessing over manky flags?

Or support a Fife Council leader who should be removed along with his associate!

Interesting times ahead .

Could we ever have unionist parties running the Scottish Government again?

They might do well but hopefully not. Regardless of what you think of the other parties, Reform have to be the worst of the well known ones. Led by a man who is just a walking sound-bite generator.

He`s more than that tbf Jake.

He`s also a traitor who is being paid to further Putin`s agenda.

Farage is an extremely dangerous man, he`s bankrolled by billionaires and it`s them who he is looking out for.

He`ll spout lies in his little sound bites, safe in the knowledge he will rarely be called out on it, and when he is, the damage is done.

The main issue is that people these days are stupid, they will swallow anything. He`s already sold them a haddie with Brexit, they are all worse off for it and they will buy whatever he tells them next.

There needs to be an intelligence test before people are allowed to vote

Unfortunately, the media and their puppet masters have done a pretty good job of blaming the brown people for all that`s wrong in this country. Farage said it himself that he didn`t care that his budget wouldn`t be balanced as he`d just chuck it on the debt pile. The man is a complete buffoon. I understand the anger and frustration around immigration. Just like we saw with Brexit, people will vote for whoever will promise change. Did we get change with Brexit? No, we got even worse. Vote Reform and say goodbye to the NHS and public services, say hello to benefits being cut, enormous health insurance policies and employment rights being torn up.

We need a government with some back bone. If someone is ripping the p*** they should be dealt with regardless of their skin colour, faith or bank balance. Why is Sharon getting 3 months in jail for not having a TV licence while Tony with the £500m tax bill is left to walk free?

If you don`t want to pay tax in this country - p*** off then. But don`t come back with your begging bowl when you need help from the British taxpayer.

I see one of his fans is in line for a Darwin Award after falling from a ladder while trying to ziptie a Union Flag to a lamp-post.

Total legend imo, we need more like him.

Comma splice.

Personally, I might have considered a semi-colon there if I were writing formally, but in an informal context, such as this one, I would consider it a bit too frilly when the comma would convey the meaning perfectly clearly.

Is it worth pointing out that `Comma splice` isn`t a sentence?

‘Personally, I might have considered a semi-colon there if I were writing formally’

That’s a nice use of the subjunctive. Well played.

His press conference to announce Malcolm Offord as the leader of Reform in Scotland has been upstaged by Kemi Badenoch`s decision to sack Robert Jenrick, ostensibly for being in discussions with Farage about joining Reform.

Any vote for reform in a general election is just going to bring the Tories back.

Of course all these self-serving politicians are acting in the best interests of the country. They`ll be the ones telling their colleagues that politicians get a bad name and they have to do something about it.

Farage broke ministerial code 17 times, surely a resigning matter?🤔💰

Perfectly understandable to forget to mention an amount of money equal to 10x the national average wage being given to you. Happens to me all the time.

It`s OK, the omissions were `inadvertent`. just what we`re looking for in a future PM.

Is he sure it wasn`t the "getting caught" that was "inadvertent"?

He`ll likely have more than that "inadvertently" hidden away. If you hold a British passport, you can open a bank account here in Hong Kong without being resident. Consider then that there is no Capital Gains tax on investments and no restrictions on having stocks and shares accounts as a non-resident. His son is a director at EY here and will know the regulations quite well.

Perhaps it was the best approach to get his partner to buy that house in Clacton after all.

Much as I hate Farage, he can not be guilty of breaking ministerial code as he is not a government minister, special adviser or Parliamentary Private secretary. Ministerial code only applies to these people.

He has breached MP`s Code of Conduct 17 times though.
