You wouldn't believe it. In 1978 when I was 16 I was selling someone a pellet gun. A wee Diana push the nose in thingy. I was firing colour changer lolly sticks out it. Someone produces a pellet to see if it could reach a garage door. I fired it and the pellet ricocheted off the garage and hit a lass on the neck. Left a wee mark. I didn't know but someone told me so I went round to see if she was ok. Police came to school next day and charged me with having a firearm in a public place and recklessly discharging it. Her dad spoke up for me but the fiscal took it to court. They got my behaviour report....never in trouble just got my gold duke of edinburgh award and made a school prefect. Slap on the wrist and admonished.
Eta asks if I ever was charged with an offence. I was honest about it and this is the result. They want a police release certificate. I dont think there is one. I have a PVG and I've flown to USA and Columbia, fostered 2 kids and got a taxi license with disclosures for several years. Surely this is on candid camera.

So you can be charged, and admonished or found notguilty but they still ask for a release report? Sure the question is charged ?, and not convicted, spent or otherwise? Thats usually been the wording for me, i've had work visas allover the place, and have found lying is the best option 😔

Sounds like a overblown reaction.
Not having a go, as based on your story it certainly should not have been in court IMO, but AIUI you can only be admonished if found guilty (convicted) of an offence, as admonishion is a punishment.

Hope you're compensated. Sounds like if you didn't mention it you'd be fine.
We've been various places and Canada had the strictest border. Australia a close second. Canada were giving it all "where are you staying, why are you here, what do you plan to see" but in an aggressive rather than friendly manner. Having been delayed 5 hours and then sat on a plane for over 8 hours you can imagine our answers were a bit vague.

They have kept my ticket from Munich live but I have incurred a lot of other costs. Hotel, trains, taxis, extra flights to and from Munich. None of this would have happened if the had stopped me in Glasgow. I thought the eta was passed. You can imagine the confusion at the gate in Munich. They cant understand why Glasgow let me come here. Absolutely definitely a claim going in there. Also, if I had been stopped in Glasgow I could have had it all sorted today. 2 days plus another day traveling lost off my hols. Add distress to the misses. Hmmm ill get gazillions.

I never understood why they don't just finish the flight. If there's a technical fault turning around and staying in the sky seems a strange course of action.....

Firstly. Nowhere on the booking papers or flight details did it tell me I needed an eta.
I had to apply for it at the airport just before boarding.
Secondly i was aware that my wife's eta was approved because I got an email. There was no email for me so I did figure there was a problem. I went to the booking in desk to check. They got on the phone and natter natter natter....yeah its ok you can board. I figured the email just didnt get through due to crappy wi fi. If they say its ok I habe to figure that's official. We were also getting rushed on-board so who was asking questions.
Thirdly.....the phone was on aeroplane mode during the flight so the email saying status pending didn't get to me til the were giving me ma totties in Munich.
The Glasgow staff are 100% liable for me being in Munich and not getting the connection flight.
The airline have accepted that. They have banked my ticket from munich to whitehorse. Im working on the eta. Just need to get back to munich too.
