Venison, wild boar and lamb spring to mind... had a crocodile kebab in Thailand once which was very good... it also gave me the opportunity to say "I'll have a crocodile kebab, and make it snappy!", which was something I'd been dying to say for years... a couple of months ago I had "calabrito" which is baby goat, and that was quite tasty as well...

So much meat, so little time...

Roast pork topped with rich gravy and lots of crackling, thick apple sauce, green vegies and roast tatties. A glass of wine on the side. The perfect Sunday lunch.

You wouldn't touch it if you saw how they treat the dogs. Mind you we, ourselves dont always treat our dinner well before its butchered.

				 				|Indeed sir... the large chunk of wild boar that I ate was shot by a crazy Kiwi hunter friend of mine when I lived in California... the boars were found in a local avocado orchard (they love avocados), and apparently the natural diet has a big impact on the flavour... my only issue was having to dig a bullet out of the tenderloin before consumption...

Me - "Why didn't you shoot it in the head ya tit?"

Him - "Aw mate, I was a bit p*ssed..."

Fair enough...

I was cooking lamb hearts for my wee yorkie when she was preggers. Smelled good so I tasted it. Seriously tasty and cheap as chips. Stir fried with onions and chicken livers for one of the tastiest nutritional meals you will get on a seriously low budget.

Excluding seafood, rare roast beef is probably my favourite, but most meat is a carrier for the sauce or other flavours of the dish.
