Hello. I'm looking for a laymens term explanation here. . .
Three experiments - (A) I drink a half bottle of vodka in 30 mins (Conventional method).
(B) I drink a half bottle of vodka (Through my eye) in 30 mins .
(C) I drink a half bottle of vodka (Through my . . .Ass. . .) In 30 mins. . .
Can anyone please explain the standard police breathalyser results, expectations or general understanding of these results.
Thank you in advance for any efforts at a comfortable answer.
Cheers.

Firstly, I would suggest that after
B - you aint driving anywhere
C - You are not gonna be sitting comfortably enough to drive
Anyway, the 'breathalyser' picks up on the alcohol absorbed by your body, (yes, absorbed, not necessarily 'swallowed') and circulated by the blood.
When said blood reaches the lungs, alcohol is exhaled, which is detected by the tests.
So yes, you can fail a breathalyser test without drinking any of the vodka

A... Epic fail on the breathalyser.
B&C... Why would you???

Scotland's 0.05% BAC is a fairly standard drink-drive limit (e.g. same as most states in the USA, Australia, NZ, Germany, France, Greece, Italy, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, etc.), The rest of the UK opts for 0.08%, which is quite high.
As far as the rest of your question is concerned, does it require answering? As the advert here in Oz says; If you drink and drive you are a bloody idiot.

I never said anything about driving. It's only scumbags that would do that.
I was looking for the scientific explanation in the difference between the absorption.

I would suggest going into your local police station and asking politely for answers to B and C.

I think you're over thinking this to be honest.
Have a few voddies (the conventional way mind) and all these questions will melt away leaving everything... Just groovy. 😳

Makes no difference legally (I assume) how alcohol is ingested - it’s the amount in the bloodstream at the time of the police test that is the key aspect.
